The woman who lost her husband, even though she wanted her husband lost, still feels a lot of grief. He was her husband for many years and she had a deep love for him at one point in time, so there are a lot of memories involved. She feels both grief and relief at the same time. It's a sad goodbye and a relieved good riddance all tied into one emotional knot.
