    This is actually the first peaceful Hell's Kitchen season that I've ever seen. Probably because they're youngsters who are still learning how to work in the kitchen. Ramsay is also not too harsh to them compared to the other seasons. Probably the only "drama" that can be count is Josie keeps "betraying" her team just to get closer with Emily who later moved to Blue Team, Kiya will say "I hate Trenton" during Black Jacket rounds which becomes a new meme on Hell's Kitchen.

    Arguably It's more benficial to lose the first challenge because you'll have a way stronger starting point than the winners who come back from a party and THEN have to start cooking

  • @Big_B_007

    @Big_B_007

    23 күн бұрын

    Yeah, I thought that was a really positive way to look at losing that first challenge. In most other seasons the team that lost the first challenge is pissy and playing the blame game and here it is like "Okay, we lost, let's use this oppertunity to learn about each other and learn the lay-out of this kitchen so we can work together more smoothly."

    I'm all into empowering women with women literally have all the power in the world. ESpecially on different levels. I'm all for equality for everyone but the problem is you've already reached that point with women. Minorities are still struggling. Women get special treatment due to double standards. Yet they complain about not being empowered? When it comes to criminal activities, or anything concerning the law they're not punished severely as a man. And then let's not talk about divorce. In America the laws are set up in the females favor.

  • @DarkDyllon

    even nowadays, minorities tend to get more favorable treatment than for example white people. (atleast my white privilege still hasn't kicked in unfortunately) but when she was like "strong women blablabla" I just rolled my eyes and was like "urgh, one of those who can't get anything done on her own merrits and just leeches of others success" Christina made it big not because she's a woman, but because she's simply an hard worker, if Christina didn't got 150% for Ramsay, she wouldn't be where she is today and Ramsay, like he did with many other winners of former season, just let them go.

Following that though, she managed to get a job working directly under Christina. She still works for Gordon Ramsay North America and appears as a sous chef on HK sometimes. I don't think Michelle deserved to win S17, but no doubt Gordon saw something in her and she's a good asset to him.
