It took until 1957 before Guthrie and Grebb got into the the Dodge. The rank and file cops always had new Fords.

That was a cue for local stations to insert their commercials in that spot- usually from another reel, or on tape.

They should insert the commercial. Today’s ads are worthless, all about medical issues.

My brother in law tried to scare my sister, once. He bought a rife, and brought it into our apartment. My Ma was cooking dinner, and turned off the stove. She walked up to John, as if to say "hello", grabbed the gun, and began hitting him over the head. He ran from the apartment, which had very long halls, and she chased him down the hall. It was hysterical, seeing my skinny, 5'5" mother, hitting him, and screaming, "don't you ever disrespect me again, by bringing a gun into my home, and thinking you're going to frighten my daughter and grandson".

"Lineup" was a pretty shameless ripoff of "Dragnet," though it did last six years on the air.

Only difference was The Lineup was set in San Francisco and didn't have the narration like Dragnet.
