Just found this video. The thing is most of the neighborhood knew something was wrong and calked the police numerous times. The area is an unincorporated area that police pretty much ignore.

I know. Incredible. Even at her young age those maternal instincts and love was there. Having both her daughters most likely kept her sane and made the time there bearable w the girls at her side

The suspects should have been given the death penalty. For rape, child molestation and kidnapping . Suspect Philip Garrido should have never been let out of prison. All child molesters should be given the death penalty. Or life in prison. These are people that are a threat to society. Fry them on the electric chair. Hopefully the other inmates in prison will get to have fun with this child molester Philip Garrido as well as his accomplice , Nancy Garrido. They both should get the death penalty. Or 11 life sentences .

In these long-term captivity cases, I feel you typically see the perpetrator give different privileges and amenities not only to ensure compliance, but out of the twisted bond they form about their victim. I can’t imagine how that would warp your interpretation of kindness from others for the rest of your life. I hope the victims are able to get the help they need to process this type of mind-bending trauma.

You make a great point, Cameron! Lots and lots of therapy to help with the trauma. Many thought that Jaycee had Stockholm Syndrome.

I don't think there's any coming back from something like this. She will struggle with it for the rest of her life. This is something these stories don't cover often enough. How does the victim cope with the aftermath? It's understandable that the stories don't cover this. The victim has the right to be left alone. But I would still love to see this dynamic investigated more. In many ways, the true atrocity is how any possibility of a normal life is robbed from the victims."

Every human is capable of this. We ALL have a little bit of Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Hitler inside of us .Even You and under the Right circumstance you will also become like them. We have had a Recent moment pass us by, still around but ... 3 years of trying to make non vax people non citizens and turning everyone against them . If you put on a mask, got a shot and or Stood By aimlessly doing Nothing... You became those people to an extent and were Part of the problem that occurs.. Just like a certain group during the 30s. History Repeats itself. Everyone around you came Very close to becoming a psycho . Trust Nobody.

She has blessed us with her experience and her willingness to share her struggles. I hope the three are well today. Most of all , I hope they feel Loved.

I am also a victim and survivor of a very gruesome and terrible long-term kidnapping in my life! I was kidnapped in October in the year of 1969 only a few days after I was born until the middle of July in the year of 1991! My both kidnappers - a schizophrenic woman and her sex-addicted husband forced me to do all the work in the house and garden and sold me to their many many sex-addicted friends that they could "play" with me! I endured so much terror and torture in the violent hands of my kidnappers and I still suffering from the aftermath of the immense amount of traumatic and terrible experiences! The female kidnapper had told me as I was eight years old that she had killed a baby girl and buried it under the hedge of the cemetery in the village in which this kidnapping of mine as a replacement for this baby girl has been happend and she said that if I ever will tell anyone something about it and say that she had told me about these things she will do it with me and so I have never ever told anyone about it because of fear of my life! I only got free from this captivity because the female kidnapper had died in the beginning of year of 1991 and her sex-addicted husband a few months later because of his alcoholism! So for this one here and many many other cases like this one, I know clearly what this particular girl and other kids and adults who have been kidnapped went going through during their own time in captivity and what they have after their own ordeals and how it feels like! - Be always aware of such kind of things in your surrounding and if you ever be a witness of such kind of things call the police and provide them with all the important information about it immediately! Because it could be lifesaving for the victim of it! Have all together a wonderful and peaceful day and enjoy your time with your family and friends and lovely greetings from Sarah Sutter!

The oldest child would have been 15 when she left there, 4 years older than her mum when she was abducted. She spent her whole childhood in captivity. The second child would have been 12 - still older than her mum was. The world would be so confusing for them once they got out. I find it scary and confusing and i was exposed to society. Wherever they are i hope they are adapting well and have a good life

All of the information/news that was released to the public. I So hope that her daughters are ok. I don't think there was any information regarding how they were recovering. Of course being a mom now I think I'd want their privacy protected. God Bless and keep these young women and their mother safe and comforted throughout the rest of their lives. In Jesus name.
