Over the weekend of the 15th-16th June 2024 the Isle of Wight Steam Railway held a 'Gin and Steam' event. Various Gins and other spirits were available for tasting and purchasing. The railway operated austerity 'Waggoner' and its replicate Drewry Railcar no 2 ( the original operating on Ryde pier) as motive power. Some Southern Vectis buses were also on display.
