Minecraft seriously needs more uses for Amethyst, Copper, Armadillos, Sniffers, (and maybe even Skulk?) before just randomly adding more and more things which don't even involve them.

I think 1.21 is OK, because now to be fair, a special weapon with special mechanics and special enchantments, people would want to get it. Trial chambers are NOT rare, they can easily be found with a few hundred blocks and even under you, it's easy to find by trading for a map too. 1.19 and 1.20 were basically collectively "the mild update"

tbf, not everyone is going to do everything in MC. you have people who stick or like to stick to one thing, i.e., building, exploring, Redstone, etc., so to claim some players use said features could be true, but your statement was as if everyone played in the same gameplay as you. for me as a builder there are blocks i just dont use wether its because i don't like the look or its because its a pain to get. the first year of the MS acquisition MS was fully hand off for the 2015 update and the 2016 update. an yes while i agree this current update was small (1.21) i do feel like they are working on a larger thing. they do this, that work on smaller updates to focus on larger updates that consist of new biomes, revamps, etc. we saw it with the nether overhaul and were bound to see it agin. they had shown it was possible to make basically infinite dimensions so it could be a new dimension or an end overhaul. we also know they have hinted at working on a new boss mob, which I don't think has any correlation to the trial chambers since the trial chambers only have a few new mobs and none of them are bosses. if you pay attention you see this stuff.

That's a really good video! I hope it gets a lot of views because you really put in the effort. I understand the feeling of putting so much effort into a video only for it not to get as many views as it should!

like in 1.8 u need to click very high cps which needs skill of movement, clicking etc. new combat is just spaming crystals and axe crits randomly and praying ur enemy has somehow lower amount of braincells

For some reaon those updates killed simple minecraft vibe. Minecraft became more developed game but they taken simplicity. Everytime when i load minecraft pre 1.8 beta I feel real nostalgic vibe due to simplicity and lightning, newer updates makes the game just looks less and less aesthetic. That's might be only my opinion, but then why there is so many communites that raise pre adventure update as a best minecarft? Nostalgia? Maybe, but I dont think so.

Disagree, updates after 1.18 aren't that insignificant. Warden and Deep Dark added an entirely new biome inside of caves, Trials also added more to the game. Sure they aren't as easily accessible like the previous updates but it is unfair to dismiss them as just filler or yet another update.
