When the guy said that the biggest spider crab ever found was 3 meters long and weight 20 kilos he was talking in terms of weight but spider crabs can grow to 3.7 meters in length (around 12.1 feet) seeing as there’s a wide variety between the sizes of other crabs based on their environment, one in the perfect conditions could be bigger.

Came here because of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I did not know about these monster crabs before and I was kinda shocked when I pulled that enormous thing under the water. I always thought that Red King Crab is the biggest crab out there (in the game.) But the Spider crab got me astonished. Such a magnificent creature.

Giant crabs are scary, but not as scary as actual big spiders! They may seem like they're pretty similar, but those eyes on a spider, their hair and their ability to climb on walls are what makes them truly frightening. Not dangerous (most of them), but just scary and gross. And probably the most important part,CRAB CAN TASTE AMAZING YO!
