As the Seneca County Commissioners have fought to help the Seneca County General Health District gain more local oversight of the WIN Waste of Seneca County landfill, they have been met with the same question over and over: Just how big is the landfill?

The video, “The Giant in the Backyard,” helps portray the vast size of the landfill, also known as Sunny Farms Landfill, through drone footage of the nearly 900 acres of WIN Waste property. Seneca County Commissioner Bill Frankart narrates the video, which will help viewers comprehend the scope of the issue local leaders are attempting to address through Senate Bill 119.
