I love how this series simultaneously portrays Minecraft with shocking accuracy, but takes wild creative liberties with the game's rules that blends together into a sort of ideal fantasy for what Minecraft really is or could be. I love this so much.

An interesting theme about the giant Golem as a moving home is the world around it. Anything outside it is so cold it freezes instantly so the remaining survivors live in a mobile home that requires fuel to keep moving, this theme is similar to that of the movie Snowpiercer the world around it is freezing cold the last vistage of humanity live in a self sufficient train.

I like how Steve is depicted as some evil mastermind throughout the season a good example is the ending where he gives the group of frozen players cheats to grief a local village in the next episode
My favorite part is how small details were not forgotten. That crafting table in the pit was used as a one time thing for the ladder, but when the pickaxes broke it became the most convenient table to use so they visited it again instead of going all the way back

There's one thing I really like about this episode is its the familiarity to my own experiences in Minecraft - the cosy nature of starting out when making a first base which gets plastered with paintings and bookshelves to make it more cosy, the friend/sibling you bicker with when playing together - often resorting to petty arguments and pranks over minor disputes, the irritating inconveniences such as not crafting the right tools or having the right amount of items, and the occasional wacky yet terrifying encounters with hostile mobs where you are unsure whether you'll make it out alive... these all were lovely touches that really made this episode shine along with the Travelling Giant Golem which felt heavily reminiscent something out of a KZreadrs lets play (a bit like Stampys Rocket in his lovely world). I'm really enjoying these Minecraft Cartoons and can't wait to see more!

Hello
I always love this concept of a sentient, titan-like creature that multiple ‘average sized’ characters live in as a base. It’s like freaking Metroplex from Transformers.
Untitled Minecraft Anthology Episode 3 Review: 9.3/10 my favorite so far! This has such a cozy and wholesome feeling, and it's definitely accurate to how I play minecraft. The concept of the Giant Golem is delivered with no dialogue yet it is as clear as a sunny day. I love the dynamic between the two housemates and *clears throat* the skelenderman section was quite cursed and heartwarming at the same time
I love how well average Minecraft multiplayer gameplay translates so well into cartoonish comedy!
This is one of the more accurate Minecraft animations out there.. from having to use blocks to set the painting how you like, to taking fall damage off of 3 blocks and not caring, to powered rails being a little too far, this man has it all in this animation! Alright maybe besides the enderman and skeleton part lmao

Everything about this animation hits deeper than it should. 11/10.
All Minecraft cartoons are great, but this particular cartoon is 11/10 for me. At first, it all starts out as a typical comedy about two neighbors, but then it all turns into a cozy everyday life, two neighbors co-oping to fill up a huge house. Speaking of which, I really like the concept of this house, you can definitely feel the inspiration of Miyazaki's anime. In addition, the atmosphere of the cartoon is very pleasant and Christmas-like, the best thing is to watch every holiday. Thank you
I don’t know why but I love magical sentient bases, and winter. And I love cartoons. This is top 10 youtube vids for me automatically.
They didn't need to add em, but I love how they show the minute annoyances when playing, like forgetting that one thing you crafted, or the powered rail being a block too short of where it should be, it's extra effort and really adds to immersion
@Exotio_

And i also like it where he uses blocks to get the painting he wanted. All of the tiny details really make you "Hey, I've done that before" and i really like that
...this is based out of a cartoon show called "Pat and Mat" made in 1965, Czechoslovakia, by Lubomír Beneš and Vladimír Jiránek. i love the slice of life kinda thing you did here, making sure to take note of the minor inconveniences in the game as well as the major ones. for example the whole booster rails being slightly too far and the falling from a place and taking fall damage but not really caring because its minor. i personally would like to see more of this kinda thing where you just animate a minecraft world but with one major twist, as you have done here

So are we not gonna talk about that post credits scene with steve breaking those players out of the ice, His eyes glowing white (and possibly hypnotising them) and sending them off somewhere? I think this series has alot more stuff planned for it than a fun time and giggles
So we're not going to talk about how the enderman and skeleton speedran through at least seven years of a relationship in a few seconds
I was really surprised to see Pat & Mat in your animation. I love it! ❤

Hello
Absolutely love the dramatic shot of the door closing, your guys are amazing animators and storytellers
They're always fighting but are good friends is so accurate I find it funny that the only mob without eyes can be with the enderman because he can't and can look at him. It makes so much sense. Also them trying to get coal bringing them together is lovely.
The Ghibli like opening song mixed with the very Howl's moving castle inspired golem is just so amazing! I love this so much!
The opening with the Giant Golem was straight out of a Ghibli movie, absolutely gorgeous!
Pat and Mat! Man the childhood memories hit me like a truck
The fact that most of what happens in this animation happens to me and many others so often makes it even better.
the music score in this one is very well made!
At every corner, there’s so many “well-crafted” jokes and relatable moments that made me fall in love with this episode in particular. Though, that’s not to say all episodes have been absolutely stunning! ❤

I wish there was a giant golem in minecraft that way were protected and we can live in it.
This feels like a love letter to minecraft more than any other animation I've seen
No way, we got TWO wholesome videos in a row, this is a miracle.
Once again, Steve has gotten even stronger than last time. He’s just going to get stronger. Also, this story was amazing. The golem house is something that I wish was real.

This was a delight to watch, the animation, the storyline, the music, everything was amazing, I loved the funny ideas used in this, like a Giant Iron Golem who moves only when he has coal to burn as fuel AND is also a living house. Also the female Skeleton and the male Enderman having a little mutant Ender-Skeleton child was really funny to, I think every cartoon released is better than the previous one.
That was 100% a reference to Howls Moving Castle, right? 0:05
0:52 I love how the rock music guy looks exactly like his painting
Love the inspiration by Pat and Mat. Great stuff!

Omg you're right!
The fact that he has a big body but small head, arms, and legs are just adorable
i love how when they aren't mining they fight and troll eachother but when there mining they dont scream and fight they literally work together thats how minecraft players are
Those two neighbors remind me of the Check show "Pat and Mat", honestly I'm wondering if that was intentional Edit: they said "Ajeto" wich was Pat and Mat's catchphrase(in the Dutch dub), it's definitely intentional
This one was insanely good story wise, holy crap

The idea of a golem house is so incredibly charming! I so wish this was an actual feature, or at least a mod!
I love how its base on howl's moving castle and actual minecraft players in the same Houses
This is a perfect representation of friendship. Friends often argue about small things, but when they need to do something important, they forget about everything and work together

Hello
the bit with repeatedly putting up the painting til it's what he wanted was very relatable/accurate lmao
I loved this minecraft animation so much that together with my sister we made a world with the giant golem and I think it was as similar as possible because we adapted it to use it as shown in the animation and this was incredible oh and we named the world the giant golem. 🙃
Immediately, The Music feels Straight-out of Ghibli Studios, and I love it.
The episode is about getting along with your friend in Minecraft. And It's hillariously accurate
