The Ghosts Of Chernobyl - Paranormal Happenings Surrounding The Meltdown

Ойын-сауық

In human history only two nuclear accidents have ever been rated at the maximum level of severity. One was the 2011 Fukushima disaster that affected Japan. The other was the Chernobyl meltdown of 1986. The incident sent ripples around the world and is arguably the worst nuclear disaster of all time. However, there is a lesser known aspect to the event in the form of the seemingly supernatural signs that occurred both before and after the fateful accident. Today we will be discovering the unexplained as we explore the ghosts of Chernobyl here mystery archives.

    I was 16 years old when this happened and it was a terrifying time even being in the USA because of the radiation cloud that no one knew about for 2 days after the explosion. The news stations were saying it could affect us as well as other countries in ways that would last for years. I've followed this ever since and even today it's melting down inside, just slowly. How could it not be haunted? What those poor people went thru, and some still go thru, it's the perfect storm. Such a terrible disaster!

    @Sarah G wow, I'm sorry to hear that. We were very lucky, we just didn't know it right away because of how it was presented in the media. But you're absolutely right! A few years prior to chernobyl, we had 3 mile island which is a few hour drive from us, so we already knew nuclear power plants where something deadly, but I was a little too young to really understand that one at the time. Just knew the fear in my parents faces wasn't good. But God bless you, your family and all that lived close by.

    The remains of reactor 4 are not still “melting down”, in any way whatsoever. I’m not sure where you would have picked up such nonsense, but, whatever the source of this misinformation, don’t ever trust it again. I have read sensationalised reports on minor increases in neutron output from transient elevated fission levels due to water intrusion, so maybe this is what you’re referring to. Regardless, it hasn’t been in a state of meltdown for a very long time indeed.

    For the past 5 years I've been dreaming of a birdlike dark creature, part human and part bird which is chasing me in an abandoned setting which looks somewhat similar to the Soviet times. This started even before I studied about the Chernobyl incident in school. I'm an Indian and 21 now .....idk it just doesnt makes sense. I see sequences of it hunting down my friends who were with me in my dream. I get terrified to the bones and the dream ends when it finds me hiding inside a large pipe kinda thing. I literally got goosebumps when one day I bumped on a KZread video explaining the mothman, I was like wtf. Couldn't sleep that day.

    Pripyat was a cutting-edge town that was supposed to be the perfect almost Utopic cosmopolitan city. There were malls, plenty of food, fine restaurants, pools, a nice school, hospital and social spaces. The name pripyat means progress, a name fitting until the disaster, which was caused by human error and arrogance. Chernobyl (Chornobyl) refers to wormwood, an herb used in medicine, absinthe, religion and witchcraft, which in small doses is fine but in higher doses, it is harmful.

    Whilst it may sound spookier to say ‘The Sarcophagus’ still exists, and it’s technically still the case, it is now completely enveloped by the ‘New Safe Confinement’ structure. The protection this new structure provides is vital, and the massive and very costly international effort to assemble it, slide it over the failing Sarcophagus, and finalise construction, from 2010 to 2019 was huge news worldwide.

  • @MysteryArchives

    @MysteryArchives

    Here's another creepy coincidence or predictive relating to Chernobyl. In the late 70s the great Russian movie director Tarkovsky released an extraordinary science fiction film called Stalker. It is centered around an area of Russia in which a huge disaster occurs. As a result there is a fenced off and forbidden area patrolled by the military called The Zone. Within the wilderness and ruins of the Zone supernatural events are said to occur. The guides who lead illegal expeditions into this are called Stalkers. This is why clandestine explorers in the ruins of Chernobyl today are referred to as Stalkers. Anyone who has seen Tarkovsky's movie cannot help but draw parallels. Is this a case of reality imitating fiction, or did the director somehow have some subconscious foreknowledge?

    I was wondering if Myst. Archives would report sightings of The Mothman before this disaster happened, but I was still surprised to learn that people did see the vision/creature, calling it The Black Bird of Chernobyl. "An omen of misfortune, death, and disaster". TY for the time and effort put into collecting and presenting these fascinating tales of mysterious events in Chernobyl.

    The year this happened I was leaving Poland for the first time with my Mom to move overseas. We moved at the end of May & I didn't know of Chernobyl until much later. My mother told me that the radiation reached far & radiation stays around for a long time - I was incredibly sad when I was old enough to understand what took place at Chernobyl. Thankyou for your amazing channel 🤍 I'm an empath & very open minded to paranormal phenomenon. I've experienced it many times since the age of 11. Some of my experiences have been very frightening & traumatic (not to mention real life events that were traumatic). I really enjoy your videos. Well done ✨🏆👍

    I remember about it, and there was rumours a long time before the government of soviet union told the world something has happened. The closest you were from it, the longer it took people to be told the truth. Today, people still think nuclear energy is unsafe because of that event, but the plan are very safe and it's environnemental friendly. Telling nuclear energy is unsafe because of chernobyl would be like saying planes are unsafe because sometimes there's a plane crash.

I was at school, and the only American in the school, so when everyone was talking about it, i couldnt understand what they were saying. One my teachers, Micki, tried explaining it but it wasnt till my dad came home and was talking with my mom about it. At that time, there was no way to watch news in Japan in english. I'm pretty sure I was privy to seeing Wormwood the Bible scripture reads about during a sunset one evening back in the fall of 2013, I was topping a mountain pass here in Colorado and as I was just starting down the other side, I had looked over another set of high peaks in the distance, I could tell the sun had just set behind them and there it was, a heavenly body, neither the moon or the sun, it was a beautiful indigo blue, a full circle, it was smaller than what the moon apears when it's on the horizon, I wanted to stop and turn around, but there was no place on a four lane highway and I knew it would've already set by the time I would've got back to the the top. Needless to say, I haven't seen it since, but I knew others have, I've seen several video's of it and the second sun here on KZread before all the censorship came into play. From what I've studied, I believe it to be the blue Kachina of the Hopi prophecy, we are definitely living in unprecedented times.

    Bro there's literally no argument that this was the number one worst nuclear disaster ever, it is miles and miles ahead of anything that ever happened. The only other IAEA level 7 event, Fukushima, resulted in 0 deaths, and 90% less radiation was released. It was a completely different type of disaster, and because it didn't happen in a shadow state as chornobyl did in the USSR, it enabled the world to come together and truly heroic acts to happen to contain the disaster.

Also there after the Blast of Reactor 4. The Russian Government created a Radius Zone witch was 18 miles and 360° in every direction from blast site... Also its Very interesting to learn that the word Chernobyl in Ukraine means Wormwood.... Very Dark Piece of History!
