I see this movie hundred times
the true genius and depth of polanski is shown in the final scene when the pages of the book go flying in every direction. Symbol: the truth is hidden (usually in plain sight), we can't grasp it, and it goes scattering every which way to be lost forever to a blundering, clueless, hapless world.

Great film
This is eeriely similar to the Jon Arryn plot from the game of thrones. [Spoilers for both Ghostwriter and GOT!] McAra dies a mysterious death just as Jon Arryn both had stumbled across the truth so our protagonist takes in charge and starts to uncover the truth himself after he does so he confronts the wive and then dies shortly thereafter.
I have read this book and I must say it's a masterpiece thriller story from Robert Harris
I thought this movie was about Drake and his ghost writers 😂🤣

This was the first Ewan McGregor movie I saw that wasn’t Star Wars
One could call this a spiritual successor to Chinatown.
Great film but the book by Robert Harris was better.
