I imagine moss kits point of view is she’s confused on why her mom is running away from her because she just wants to play she thinks it’s a funny game but to Bluestar it’s a scary dream and a bad nightmare

What if she’s just missing her mom and doesn’t understand that she is hurting Bluestar, and just wants to be with her, but from her perspective Blue is just running away from her... leaving her again.

I actually like this idea cause this might explain why she went mad. She cant tell anyone about her nightmares and all her nightmares spiral from her guilt. The guilt she feels for mosskit, the guilt she feels for snowfur, possibly the guilt she feels for swiftpaw and brightheart. Imagine ever night she wakes up in what seems to be the dark forest, swiftpaw and mosskit chase her down everynight because she knows their deaths were her fault, the guilt she feels for moonflower and snowfur knowing their deaths could have been prevented if it wasnt for her maybe they even glare at her in the dream because they know how many rules of the code shes broken despite being a leader, maybe she even has to watch oakfur and redtail die in her dream also blaming herself, feeling guilty she didnt know about tigerclaw sooner and feels terrible for praising him, she sees the pain goldenflower bramblekit and tawnykit have to go through because of who their father is, having to watch stonefur die, having to watch her kits grow up with a false mother and a lonely father. She has to see this, EVERY NIGHT. Seeing both parts of the future and the terrible present. It drives her completley insane.

I don’t think Mosskit understands she’s hurting her mom, and that’s basically ruining whatever Bluestar was doing. Or maybe this is dark forest Mosskit, haunting Bluestar after she left Mosskit by the river. Either way, this was quite spine-chilling. It still haunts me even after a few years

You see in the middle where Tigerclaw attacks her? And at the end where she ‘drowns’ in the snow after falling off the cliff? This is AMAZINGLY animated, seeing Mosskit's little bones literally CHILLED me I'm shivering not even kidding-...

The way Manchkin drew Mosskit is just... * Shudders * haunting, like, the blank, 1000 yard stare... Absolutely perfect for a Halloween MAP, like, dang, it defos helps that they chose to give Bluestar a shine in her eyes, but not Mosskit, truly enhances the horror effect of it, it sends chills down my time each time I look at Mosskit drawn like that. It's amazing! Plus, the animation in their part is so smooth and just... Muah! Chef's kiss! Like, dang. I mean, there's so much that's amazing, but Manchkin's part is 100% my fave. Everyone did an awesome job, blown out of the park! Just, practically yeeted it into space! All those folks should keep up the fantastic work!

All I can get from this, is Mosskit is warning her. Tigerclaw jumps at her at one point in the dream, and when she widens her eyes at the end that’s when she would notice Tigerclaw towering over her. Which is a genuinely amazing idea. Mosskit is trying to wake her up so that Tigerclaw won’t get there on-time. He’s there to say, ‘get back up’, ‘it’s not safe’. ❤

The way Mosskit just walked towards her is very haunting and scary. To me that's more scary than just being chased normally because you know whatever it is will always be coming. Like in the movie It Follows

I love how a some of the animators made Mosskit’s teeth more visible, like at 1:22, 2:13 and 2:47. It makes it a lot more scary, despite it being normal for kittens to have the usual sharp cat teeth. (It’s scary irl as well, since some people don’t expect such razor jaws from something so cute) I also like when they make Mosskit have pure deadness in her eyes, and how her first appearance was from behind a mossy rock. 🙂👍🏽✨

Warriors spoilers Mosskit is the spotted kitten. Bluestar is the other cat and her mother. Bluestar let her kits away to be with their father in a snowstorm, there were three, but only mosskit died. She froze to death, hence the snow themes and ice on her face.

SO CREEPY!!! This is an excellent horror map- I really like that we don’t know what Bluestar sees at the end. I’ve never seen someone animate a mother cat gathering up and hugging the bones of a dead kitten. Freaky as hell. Amazing work from everyone!

Watching this last night before bed wasn’t a good idea… I didn’t have nightmares though! The way mosskit is forever following her is honestly so spooky! The way blue star panics and runs is amazing

i feel like mosskit was trying to be with her mother again, and she thinks they're playing some sort of tag; not realizing she's hurting her own mother because to her, bluestar is running away for a second time. she doesn't understand that bluestar is terrified of her, whereas bluestar knows dead cats cannot touch you in your dreams, so why could mosskit? why was she having this strange dream? edit: i should redo this probably LDBFHHA

Oh god, I would die, also since I get scared easily, and I’m a person who try to scream, but can’t because then I would lose my breath, and then the thing chasing me would get me. I’m also really slow, also I’m really clumsy, so I would smash into the closest thing there. And I would not, for the life of me, leave without my dog!

OMG I LOVE THIS ,ITS SO SMOOTH -rip moss kit :< - but I also like all the different art stiles that change in the video! It’s so cool and the transitions between them are just epic!!! i love this I can’t stop thinking of good things about this warrior cat animation it’s just to cool to describe it!!

Everyone is saying it's Mosskit's ghost. I feel this is Bluestar's guilt weighing heavily on her chest. If you guys remember, even the moments of her final breath, she bore so much underlining guilt when Mosskit AND Oakheart died. This being said, she could have seen a dream demon of a sort, playing with her, toying her memories into an emotional rollercoaster fueled by massive Guilt alone. When she saw Mosskit's bones, she felt like bringing the pieces together to aide in relieving said guilt only worsened the demon's actions, forcing Bluestar to only run more, plunging into death as she awakens to stare at the problems her actions with Oakheart made. Edit 8 Months later: 1.4k, 23 Replies, OMFG- I was not expecting so much attention from this logical theory! Thank you so much! TwT Made my day! Glad I chose to watch this after being recommended again to me lol

After 3 years this song still slaps

Ooooh so today when I was supposed to be paying attention in class I was coming up with a Mosskit au: After freezing to death on that fateful night, Mosskit becomes Mossfrost, an almost mindless ghost with ice powers who now haunts the woods of Thunderclan and by the river in Riverclan driven by fear. This ghostly figure is only seen during leafbare. All sightings report being out near the river or in the woods, then feeling a ghostly chill down their spine. All reports swear that they heard a small voice calling for their mother, but none of them were able to be completely sure. I’m thinking Fireheart is the one who finally solves the mystery of Mossfrost after learning about Bluestars speckled past or maybe the other way around, like he hears ghostly whispers of the child telling her story, and then with all the other pieces he’s gathered he puts it together. He then, with Bluestar, calms Mossfrost, turning her back into Mosskit. She goes to Starclan to wait for her mother to follow after her. I think it’s a cool idea and I did a design for it. It’s kind of similar to the Mosskit design in this video, but when Mossfrost walks, her feet more freeze to the ground, causing her to have to pull them off ever time, as apposed to in this video, she just leaves a track of ice. She is constantly crying, and as soon as the tears leave her face, they freeze, dropping to the ground as small, geometrical pieces of ice. Her tail, ears, and neck fluff are all covered in icicles. Her tail it frozen in place. Every time her ears move (which is not much) the icicles break off, to be quickly replaced by new ones. Sorry for the long comment, here’s a potato: 🥔

To me this map is a reflection of bluestars guilt for mosskit’s death. she feels as though it is her fault so she dreams that mosskit has turned against her to avenge her death. but really it is Bluestar’s guilt is the enemy not mosskit. Mosskit is safe in StarClan waiting patiently for her mother who she knew so little of, to join her. This also explains how the lyrics say “I am you.” Because this nightmare-ish version of Mosskit is actually a dark guilt-filled part of Bluestar. I also think the fact that Mosskit grows older represents Bluestar’s fear of Mosskit growing up in StarClan without her. Exactly what I was thinking, too! Didn't Blue go a lil crazy after Tigerclaw tried killing her? It'd make even more sense as she's delving into her own thoughts and insanity, tortured by the things she's done just for a Clan she feels doesn't respect her anymore. (If I remember correctly lmao)
