Played and recorded on Kega Fusion 364 emulator.
Timing starts as soon as I select the first stage and it stops as soon as I lose control over your character after defeating the final Boss (Red rising up from a crouch position/when Boss explosion completely ends).
Edit: Originally submitted to SRC as 10:29 by using a different timing method compared to all the other runners (I was starting the timer with the Start button press during intro/main menu which is slightly slower)
Resubmitted on September 13th 2021 as 10:27. The exact time is10:27.983 (frame counted using Virtual Dub 1.10.4)
Played on Kega Fusion 364 emulator. An improved 100% speedrun, played on May 1st 2018.

Seeing that HORRIBLE last stage being utterly destroyed was very VERY satisfying GG!!

50 batteries were wasted trying to get through that stage, I got a DC plug to finally sit in the corner of the living room and eventually beat that stage!

I did the Highway-Harbour-Valley-Forest road for 25 years... It feels kinda weird to see the blue and green guys in he highway lol Great speedrun btw ^^

The favourite game and soundtrack of my childhood, I really enjoyed watching this! Neo City in 6 minutes, that's insane. :-P
Epic! shinobi was my favourite GG game, Thank you so much for bringing back those wonderful memories !

This game is impressive for GG. Not bad at all.
There are 2 reasons why I won't attempt to beat your speedrun. 1. The music is too damn good to even try, I mean... listen to it! 2. I can't.

You always gotta wonder why the bad guy's place/home/residence always blows up at the end when they're defeated.. 🤨🤔🤷 CEO of "evil corp" to the engineers when the construction starts for the new evil town: "Don't forget line the walls, floors and roads of every building with explosives.." Engineer: "Wait, WHAT!?" 😳 🤷🤨
never know the double jump and secret move technique, used to get stuck in the first few inches after the level starts........
