The only thing I dislike about The Gerat War mod, is that the UK joins the war when you haven't even invaded Belgium. The Invasion of Belgium was what caused the British to join the war so early in the first place

@@riddhimaansenapati5006 They would of course join later on in the war anyway, but the invasion of Belgium is the reason for why they joined so early in the first plac. The British were reluctant in joinign the war at first. But when Germany invaded Belgium Britains old ally, they decided that they needed to join the war.

@@LT_Silver it should be that Britain will enter when Belgium is invaded or when france has like 12 percent capitulation or when Russia loses Poland

I managed to conquer Paris on 19th August and get a truce on 23rd December once. Still a very cool video :3

@@bigmoniesponge yeh but its like dynamic, which means you have to wait for stuff to happen, also some wars like the italo turkish war and even the balkan wars sometimes domt happen, also every other portrait, like George V is the generic white haired dude. Also 1914 Germany has a generic focus tree. Even then, you have to play the 1905 start date, maybe even the 1908, since if you play any other date like 1914 the focus trees are chronologically wrong. There are lots of flaws in this mod, and i have played it, i feel like it needs some fixing before it gets any real attention. One final thing is that while states do have their native names, they dont change once another nation takes them. For example, Guney Epir, which i think is the turkish name for Northern Epirus(maybe south) , doesnt change to lets say Vorios Ipeiros when Greece takes the state plus states like North macedonia arent even cored by serbia or bulgaria, and thye are onl claimed, same with Greece and Montenegro

Bro, i don't understand why in this mod the logistics in the western front suck so much, i can easily beat Russia because the supplies are decent at least, but conquering a single piece of land on France is a fucking sacrifice, not even fighting in China with Japan is that painful, which makes no sense because Western Europe was always better at infrastructure and railway lines, the developers should update that

Why you think the schilliefen plan got logistic problems? Do the devs need to come back in 1914 and stop the belgians from destroying railways? There is a reason for adding the decision to rebuild belgiam supply lines on the mod.

Everyone playing this mod normally, me betraying Austria Hungary in 1911, starting ww1 in 1912 but only with France, winning but fighting France again right after, killing italy by 1915, killing the russians after in 1917 and the ottomans in 1919 all the while having formed the HRE and basically owning all of Europe while at war with the USA and mexico but we can't really manage to invade each other. You guys with your normal ww1 experiences 😂

That is the mobilization level, the one at 0:30 is the partial level of mobilization, while the one that is at 2:35 is the war economy level of mobilization, both of them differentiate, in terms of buffs and debuffs.

honestly , if you just deploy 25 landstrum divisions to hold frances border without schlieffen then you can use the rest of your normal 4 armies to destroy russia and you dont need to even capitulate them you just wait after you push them back into their own territory for some time and then the revolution kicks in and ig you can keep the land if you want after that then you go back and schlieffen with those four veteran armies and buffed up gernerals and destroy france in 2 months while schlieffen is going on , force attack at their og border with the landstrum divisions so they are pinned there so they cant get to your schlieffen in time and then its basically you walking into paris without any opposition

Dang you were slow I just used several armies of 27 width infantry + artillery with howitzer support, and one army of starting calvary, and I blitzed Russia and France before the end of 1915 (Killed Russia first then turned around to slaughter France, as you did). It does seem that you got screwed with how well the Allies did in the Middle East though; Ottomans in my game were actually competent for once.

I used a more careful approach, to avoid a two-front war, more manageable for me when I can simply wipe out Russia with all of my major forces and then turn to my allies, to keep other major fronts open and then turn to France, to strike a mortal blow to the Entente, that was practically my gameplan lol

Not necessarily, Tool pack helps me with sorting provinces once I am done with the wars, the scripted peace deal pretty much sucks ass, so I tend to modify it to my likings, hope you understand and have a good one.

Bra i‘m struggling with France. You know, i Want to win the Great war with Germany. First i take out Russia and Thats pretty easy. Thats Not the Point. But what i am struggling is with France. I have completely No Idea, His to invade France. Everything is red and progress is only there, when i try to invade belgium But France is for me just to hard. I hope, i could Beat France One day. Maybe, That would be nice

Maybe you could Go through Italy and afterwards through south France and then from two fronts. Idk Or you do a naval Invasion in north France . I try those attempts. But when I don‘t succeed, i give up

Update! So i have experienced a Bit. The Solution is simply to Play non-historical. Often, the british Empire is going to be neutral, if they have done the focus „Continue the Pax britannia“. When they have done That focus, they do Not garantee for belgium and France. Then it is pretty easy. In addition, russia leaves very often the Entente, so france are alone and afterwards it gets pretty easy to ein against france. The reason why the Invasion of France is failing is That the british Empire Supports France. But when they are neutral, france get‘s fuck*d

I did it on historical. Deploy 3 armies in the west. The first 2 are offensive units for the Schlieffen Plan. 42 Width divisions with artillery. Put Hindenburg, Francois and Ludendorff in charge. Defend german french border with defense divisions. Deploy 2 armies and one incomplete in the eastern front, standard division with pioneers for defense. Add some more cavalry. Always take the decision to get more infantry weapons. Execute the Schlieffen Plan take Paris and fortify behind the river seine. Encircle french in lorraine. Cavalry is really good to get on tiles before the ai does. 3 or 2 for each army. Spent combat width acordingly dont waste divisions in reserve spread everywhere. If you cant force france to surrender, form 3 new armies. 2 standard armies without artillery replace the offensives ones in the west. 1 Offensive army with Mackensen. Do an encirclement east of the vistula (poland), from east prussia and galicia push 1 army each. Russia will be so weak, Austria wont have problems. Now send Mackensen to serbia and defeat them. Send 6 good divisions through bulgaria to help the ottomans hold important ground like the 3 tiles in palestine. Keep Mackensen army in reserve to wait for romanias entrance. Push trough romania into ukraine, russias frontline will be to big and surrender. Last but not least send everything to the western front and just push, allies will run out of organization eventually. It is really easy to hold the western front, the allies will suffer so many casualties, so you just focus on all the other fronts until only this one is left. Except italy, bad terrain even as austria hungary I rather finished in france.
