I received a double lung transplant 6/30/21. I got a right to praise the Lord Spent 11 years on oxygen was on eventually 6Liters. I hadn’t worked since September 2009. I went back to work in May 2022. No more oxygen since the hospital. The lungs came from Maryland all the way to Florida. Glory to God. Please help me pray for the donor’s family. I’m not allowed to know who he was. They had me on life support as my heart weakened during the 12 hours surgery. People went in after me and finished before me. I had to go on the ecmo machine to help my heart out. The doctors said it’s up to her and God now. They said she is possibly having brain damage as she is not responding to us. My sister said that God told me he got me. She said let me talk to her. She said she started talking to me and my cheeks went up into a smile. My oldest daughter said mom if you hear me squeeze my hands and I did. My youngest was on her way from her home in Virginia so she called and my heart rate shot up. The nurses were like wow she is actually responding! July 12th I had regained my strength in my legs and I went home from the hospital! God has a purpose for us all. After not working for 12.5 years I came back making top dollars. Glory and honor to God. I trusted Him. I knew He would come through. I was added to the transplant list in January. I only spent 5 months waiting. It could have been a different outcome but God said I have plans for you!
