Bernstein induced me to study to Phil Markowitz instead of having private guitar lessons with him. That was from my respect to him, besides I am thirteen older, as then in1994 at Mannes College NYC. We hang out on Jim Hall ensemble classes in New School NYC in late 80s. I know he can play chord chops, with piano too. Peter, he's absorbed the lick of NYC drip off in guitar the jazz village time line. He represents, besides

Adore and admire the structured lyricism of Eric Alexander's improvisation. The fantastic pugnacity of George Coleman's sound-voice and the accuracy with which he hits and navigates the altissimos do belie his "senior youthfulness" - if I may. While the Band kicks splendidly, George seems a little pensive - rather reflective, or somewhat nonchalant; absent-minded, maybe.

watching this is a reminder that on tenor I am not plugging in to the full set of overtones in sound production.

Sounds like Coleman´s sax has a leak problem. Either The high E key or the neck. Had the same problems, the resonans disappear.
