Despite the fact PvP, parkour and clutching has existed in the game for years, it was Manhunt where I kept saying "You can do that in Minecraft?!". And in a stream, Dream said he had to keep thinking outside the box and go off the beaten path to beat the hunters: trap them in the Nether roof, fly in a boat, crush George to death with minecarts, send lit TNT through the portal, make a trap out of moss. The Ender Dragon perch he did is something only one of the five hunters, who are Minecraft veterans, knew about and most videos on the subject have no more than 5-digit views, he has to understand this game inside and out to keep pulling this stuff.

Evan: A child, walks up to the candy store slowly as he imagines himself eating the candy, he imagines eating all of it. The music actually is what makes the entire pacing go smoothly, its very well edited, even if it's a little bit

I think it’ll be really interesting to see the hunters view in a manhunt

Callahan does a great job with seeds especially with the most recent ones having very epic starts

Evan puts so much work into every one of his videos. The reenactment is outstanding and the editing is top notch. You are a better narrator than Morgan Freeman! Keep up the amazing work

It's so forced editing though, it's just off putting if you keep in mind what you're watching and what kind of music is being used, completely surreal. Very obviously marketed for children

These documentaries deserve much more views and appreciation than it does.

Manhunt is one of the most entertaining Minecraft series because of the intensity, skill, and just how funny it is. This is so well done

I don't know how you make these documentaries, but they're so epic. Like I just love watching them :D, it feels as if I'm watching a movie. Hat's Off To You Man!

The fact that he doesn't have face cam makes everything better as we will focus on his plays, not on his reaction. Also, as a speedrunner needs to concentrate on whats happening in the game, you can't interact (with audiences) on camera, all you can do is FOCUS and delivering the best of yours.

This was awesome, I love the montages of so many different Dream plays and the Minecraft Manhunt series is always amazing to watch. Another great video as always, Evan.

Evan, about the rules of manhunt you mentioned, Dream and the hunters “broke” all of them during manhunts. I remember Dream making another portal, the hunters destroying the end portal, and them using instant harming 2 potions. I’m pretty sure the rule of manhunt is that you can do anything to win, but you can only do it once per manhunt. Pretty sure that would be the fair rule which I think already exists.

They only add the rules after they come into question and are deemed as unfair, then after that match they are made illegal, it doesn't apply retrospectively. You can hear them talking about adding rules occasionally in the post video videos

I saw someone tell a lore theory for all the Minecraft and it's absolutely amazing, would love a legit show.

I love the video, I imagine that Manhunt isn't just a game, but an alternative to the fight with time. Each time the manhunt ends, there is another timeline that starts and everything's all over again. It's just an endless loop with infinite amount of starts and ends, of progress and fall, of victory and failure. And it's all just to not let one person kill the greatest monster in the universe - the Ender Dragon. Now that you can see a Manhunt in my eyes, dear viewer, we'll talk about your taxes. Are you paying up? Anyways, as I said the Manhunt itself is an amazing journey for both players and viewers. It keeps everyone in amazement, shock and all other different emotions. The fact that one of the best players in the world does seemingly impossible stunts also helps a lot to keep people engaged. Unknown tricks and secret techniques are frequently used in episodes, things every player could do, but few actually can. This leaves an awesome legacy for players that can replicate this, but also serves as an inspiration to other players and hone their skills and learn about the game. Familiar things in creative ways.
