THIS statistic is NOT based on equal work. This is based on a total of women working and their pay. The "gender pay gap" does not exist! This is for 3 major reasons. 1: women tend to choose emotionally fulfilling jobs and men tend to choose financially rewarding jobs. 2: women tend to work 20% less hours per year taking more time off for whatever reasons. 3: men are more likely to ASK for a raise.

There might have been a few left but you conveyed the major issues that would explain the biggest part of the variance in salary.
Coming from a blue collar steel worker standpoint here. There definitely is a wage gap going on. Now that being said there is also a SEVERE lack of women in the production or maintenance side of things here at our particular steel mill. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with women not wanting to do this kind of work. This shit sucks. But dont bitch about not getting paid for it.
There was a study between the pay gap between male and female Uber drivers. Uber is unique because you are paid based on an algorithm that doesn’t take gender into consideration. Men worked way more hours than the women, and their income was much greater. If you just consider an average hourly wage, men outperformed women by 6%. Not sexism, just output. And a large data set.

That’s why woman are complaining the most about the work week and laws are being passed to reduce the work week by 4 day instead of 5 days while still getting paid as though they work a 5 day work week. They can’t perform like a man at a job.
How do you account for risk of woman getting pregnant or other woman related things should we make woman sign contracts to say exactly what they will provide insurance rates are based on risk
I guess we can rule out no more saying i'm a full timer or a part timer everyone gets the same wages even if someone works less days than the person who works more days.

Mr Sosnick if they are doing the same job the man and woman have to be paid the same it’s the law.
The type of jobs, the hours worked, (including overtime) and women take time off when they have kids. All of this is part of the gender pay gap. It's not a bad thing nor discrimination.

Its literally against the law to not pay them the same. Sos is misleading them because hes talking about an earnings gap, not a wage gap. Theres an earnings gap because men tend to work longer hrs and tougher jobs (which on average pays more).
Now a days it can be a false advertisement. Since now you have even girls who just got out of collage making way more if they use their beauty right. Heck isn't that cash me out side making like millions right now by doing onlyfans. Also i feel like women who can't understand how money works and hours work shouldn't complain about these things and say we need to be equal on the payment. Plus you did have women working in the USA but only small stuff no women ever did labor job unless you were lucky to be hired through the family of course. I know my grandma used to work for boats by transferring food but sadly she passed away now. But she would tell me only a few women used to work there and when she see these new feminist women talking about women never work she laughed at the people on tv news.

It is illegal to pay a woman less than a man. Could you have those people briefed on the subject instead having them spew their stupid feelings on the podcast instead of voicing an informed opinion. Jordan Peterson has done a few videos on the subject and others also have done podcast on the subject. That would be smart to inform these women instead of turning this into some kind of Rah Rah party for womanism and the non documented gender pay gap.
