@@rebeccaleannenails241 I'm still getting totally gloopy looking nails...I file them down but can't get them to look natural. I use IBD Building Gel with the forms. My own nails are horribly short.

Make sure you apply really thin layers. Do 3 layers if you have to. Sounds like you have too much product on your brush? I like to warm mine in a baby bottle warmer as this makes the product runnier and easier to apply. Room temperature makes all the difference!!

Do you need to file the biab before putting colour on? What are the different types of nail files you’re using?

Hi Leanne, just wondering why you didn’t use your efile to get the top coat off? I just got a professional one and am amazed at how much quicker it is so I don’t want to use a hand file if I don’t need to lol. Is it so you don’t file off too much? Thanks!

Hi Michell, I like to use both to be honest. In this video my old efile had come to the end of its life and I was waiting for my new one to arrive. I actually did a haul on that in one of my other videos. Because my own nails are so thin and over filed (from lots of practicing) I choose to use a hand file whilst doing my own nails but on clients I nearly always use an efile for the majority of the work and then refine at the end (before gel polish application) as you have more control and get a nicer finish in my opinion. Hope this helps.

Hi, I’m wondering what happens when you next want to infill your biab but also get rid of the red? Would you take off the top coat and get rid of as much red as you can then infill as normal? X

Hi, I would take a coarse drill bit then remove all the red and some of the BIAB too, make sure any lifting is removed and smoothed out then reapply BIAB x
