They're back

Gaslight were such great performers. Brian was obviously struggling deeply with grief during the Horrible Crowes phase ,his self titled album, Get Hurt and his Molly and the Zombies gig. The passion he puts into recognizing and the organization of his pain and emotions is definitely the key factor into coping with his apparent losses. Fallon is an Angel. Love his new album " Local Honey"

This is very well-written response. I think you are 100% correct based on the podcasts I have listened to where he talks about going to therapy. What a brilliant singer.

There's some kind of tricky that brings me to tears EVERY FUCKING TIME he sings those lines from Chelsea Hotel, by Leonard Cohen... What a song!

This version is better than the album version.

Love this version, especially the end when he adds lines from the Leonard Cohen song 'Chelsea hotel' which was an homage to Janis Joplin. Brian for me is one of those singers that can invoke the true sense of loss, such in the way that we were subject to by all the great classic song writer artists.

This is the best version I've heard Brian sing this. Love this!!

So much beauty in so much pain. Brian is a gift.

The best performance of my favourite Gaslight song ❤ there's a real sense of catharsis and letting go here which wasn't there in earlier shows or in the original track.

At this point, I'm pretty sure i'm roughly .5% of the total views for this video. And I can't thank y'all enough for that!

MinusHuman12 Chelsea hotel is a Leonard Cohen song, menzingers redid it for sun hotel. The Cohen original is amazing

I think it is: And you told me again How you preferred handsome men Ah but for me you’d make an exception I don’t mean to suggest that I loved you the best I can’t keep track of each fallen robin And I’ll remember you well from the chelsea hotel But that’s all I don’t think of you that often I think I read once that Leonard Cohen wrote chelsea #2 about Janis Joplin but then felt bad about writing it and that the Chelsea hotel was a hotel that a lot of popular artists used to stay at that point in time. I kind of wonder if there was a meaning to why brian added that part to this, if there was a specific reason or if it was just because he liked the song. Either way it’s a great version though.

How come this isn't available on spotify?

Was only ever released on iTunes as a bonus track. Incredible to think that it didn't make the album. It's one of their best!!
