Beautiful low mileage car. Would be really jealous if I hadn’t Just bought the exact same model with the optional blue roof and 70,000 miles on the clock, a few little scuffs, but full service history, beautiful leather and only two owners, the last since 2003 who just spent £2,500 on it over the last 12 months. Cost me just £850! Sadly the wheel rims need tidying, and the new tyres are Chinese. Otherwise it’s perfect for the spring. A future classic I believe. Thank you for sharing

Weird that it had a cassette player instead of CD on the dash but that's because there is an optional CD changer in the trunk.

Mine has 2 flipper things on the roof On the inside.
I know a local junkyard who will take it. Had the exact same one but in manual, I won't lie, I clutch dumped the sucker every time I drove her and smashed through all the gears with out a single engine, transmission or turbo problem... just the damn roof always trying to open when I didn't want it.

The '99 was a unicorn. It was the last of the T5 series engine, replaced in 2000 by the similar but developed T7 engines. In some ways the T5 series were superior. 1999 was the last year for the Saab Scania badges as well (only cars were the 9-3 and 9-5) on models that were only a year or two old, making it very difficult to find replacements as they are notoriously inferior and lose paint quickly. Being that Saab is also long gone, original Saab Scania badges for '98-'99 are worth a small fortune.
