N. Harken, the nemisis of my childhood.

I remember this game from when I was a little boy... right down to the animations for the opening and closing ceremonies. Looks like the game was either way more difficult than I remember or I was just better at it.

I can remember it, too. For some reason i had to think about it today.... and yep, it WAS freakin´ hard. At least back then, almost impossible to beat the times :D

By the way check this: Wolfenstein 3D Winter Challenge Fury of The Furries Lotus III: Ultimate Challenge Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold Rockford Vivi Vicious Viper Supaplex Grand Prix Circuit The Cycles: International Grand Prix CD-MAN Bow and Arrow Prehistorik 2 Mario & Luigi DOS Game These times were better a lot than current times.

Played a lot of this in early 90's on a 286. Everything, except ice skating I was able to figure out, but in that one I kept running into a wall. Felt like I was exhausting stamina.

Ive played this a tonnes! So hard buttonmashing that my dad had to buy a new keyboard!

Still the best olympic game to this date tbh.

Brings back such fun memories! One summer my brother and I played this almost every day. Seed skating, downhill, luge. Epic game play for the 90s. The ski jump wipeout where it sounds like they're cursing 😂

Omg... Watched dj slopes doing his California games history and I remembered this was the best the games video game ever... and he didn't mentioned it. This games graphic are so pleasing and unique

It was never bugged it was old fashioned copy protection doing it's job to ruin your game. Problem is there were legitimate re-release copies that bypassed the copy protection but the code to check if you had bypassed it hadn't been removed and so it still ruined our game intentionally. I believe it also deliberately made you fail Ski Jump if you went over a certain distance.

We had this game on our first computer in the early 90s. The game became corrupted and stopped working, but I remember the rabbit.

This game was difficult as shit!!! But i allways won in country cross

@LilD2nd yes, it was second layer of copy protection. It is possible to find the version with original exe, where you need to use the spinning paperwheel to get the code for running the game. Then it works properly. There are even more copy protection glitches (biathlon and ski jumping).

@@LilD2nd yeah part of the issue is there were legitimate re-release copies of the game that were released in the early 90s that bypassed the protection but they didn't remove the code that deliberately hijacked the game if you bypassed it. The re-release copy I owned as a child has both the unaltered binary and altered binary on it.

14:08 Speed skating was bugged and stupid. I thought it was my version that had that bug, it seems like it was released like that. How are you supposed to do a good time?
