    hahaha elite quarterbacks usually aren't trailing in the 4th. How many opportunities has Matt Stafford had for a "come back win" -- probably a lot more than most! He's a joke as far as I'm concerned, living in Detroit. He has not delivered even 1 playoff win in his 9 years. He is overpaid, overrated and not 'that good'.

  • @MegaClarkful

    @MegaClarkful

    6 жыл бұрын

    desMEGA he’s never had an elite defense or a running back to help him out. All he can do is throw the ball. A comeback win is a win, and he gets his wins. It’s like saying a basketball player hitting a game winner 20 times in a season and not calling him elite. Makes no sense at all. He’s one man on a 22 man team and he does his job with greatness.

    I thought that was a dumb comment by the announcers at the time. Of course Stafford hadn't had a game-winning drive to that point. The kid was a rookie and had only played like 9 games prior to that with a team that went 0-16 the year before. What a dumb thing to say.

  • @james_ford86

    @james_ford86

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@karim9117 The Colts were not really a 1-15 or 2-14 team with Peyton Manning, and you know that. It's not fair to compare that Colts' team to the 2008 Lions. The only team that has ever been worse than the '08 Lions, statistically speaking, were the creamsicle Buccaneers back when they went 0-14. Even the Browns, during their 0-16 season, were still a better team than the 2008 Lions. The only reason the Colts had such a bad year the year before Luck was drafted was due to poor QB play. Peyton Manning's neck injury caught the Colts with their pants down. They'd left the backup QB position utterly devoid of talent for years because Manning hadn't missed any time and it bit them. You know you're not going to win many games with guys like an almost 40 year old Kerry Collins, Dan (I don't know where the back of the endzone is) Orlovsky, and Curtis freaking Painter. The rest of that Colts' team, besides the QB position, was MUCH better than the Lions and you know it. This was the same team, more or less, that Manning had been consistently winning 10-12 or more games a season for years with. The only good thing Matt had coming into Detroit was Calvin Johnson. The majority of the rest of the Lions' team back then wouldn't even make the majority of NFL teams' rosters, much less start. So yeah, you don't know what you're talking about if you think Stafford and Luck's situations were comparable. They weren't.

    I love that Matt Stafford is finally be with a good organization. He has been F-cked over his whole career in Detroit!!! I will give the Rams the edge for winning the division this coming season!!! Fantastic defense and now the offense will have a good QB under center. If the LA Rams had Stafford three years ago they would have beaten the Pat's in the Super-bowl
