The chorus is the absolute highlight and the rest is being kept rather simple, which isn't a bad thing imo as it makes the chorus come across even better. This beat is a great example of how easily you can create a banger just by finding a very good sample.

C M I started off chopping the sample and I used piano roll to lay it down. It was the closest key to the original without stretching the time manually. Once I had the sample down I listened to the high hat of the original and set the tempo so I can get the high hats in. To make it easy for myself I set the tempo high as hell to something like 270+ bpm it just gives me more flexibility sometimes. And from there just added the correct sounding instruments and then last keyed out the bass.
