Great Fire of 1885 had burned itself out. A 100-acre swath of Galveston Island lay in ruins, and more than forty blocks of the building were destroyed. This piano piece, written in 1885, summarizes what transpires. It encourages the community to give a helping hand to those in need, especially the poor ones, and always remember the little ones you love.
