The Realism mod really does make this an entirely new game, and I'm SUPER excited to see new mods that do complete conversions. Would love to get some questing fix mods. One of my main gripes of EFT is there are SOOOO many "plant marker here" quests or "kill 435 scavs wearing a diaper and using a pellet gun".

Weapon position is so good fr, realistic also

BSG needs to add all these mods. Low and high ready is so cool and the weapon positioning is realistic. The optics are clean too!

@@punchykarma6685 Why would you even play or mod the PvE mode, when SPT exists? BSG also said, only mods they approve will be allowed to be modded. So you get a worse version with less mods, AND a queue to get in, and always online. SPT is purely offline, any mod you want.

recently got the project fika mod for me and my brother to play. its very easy and runs surprisingly smooth for what it is. im currently on 3.1 so its not fully up to date on the newest version of fika but id imagine the guys over there are ironing out bugs.

Have you tried the March Tactical scope with the FOV fix? It's so good, you can put it anywhere between 3x to 24x so it's good in pretty much any mid-long range situation. I've been playing with the Friendly PMC mod. Which allows you to spawn in with members of your own faction, or recruit them inraid, and manage your squad with gestures and voice commands. I set the spawn chance of hostile PMCs to be higher (in my case, it's 80% BEAR and 20% USEC), but I really like having the possibility of friendly contact in a raid and having to get an ID on targets before firing.

11:10 Gas analyzer being a 1 slot spec item is dope. It being a functional item seems insane. That ACOG looks so clean too I just want to play this pack of Mods. I just haven’t ever installed mods on my PC unless they were inside the actual game itself. I can’t trust myself to not mess something up. Hopefully some day this becomes easily available to those who aren’t as proficient with installing and setting up mod packs.

No chance of getting banned unless you launch regular Tarkov and the SPT server at the same time. BSG is not able to freely browse the files on your computer so there is no way that they would know.

The rats from the SAIN AI rats for real. Once I got clapped walking into crackhouse library. Bro was hiding behind the desk and the monitor concealed his head from the doorway. Eversince I've been prefiring the monitor just in case. And the scavs can practically *smell* loot (or they follow big exchanges of gunshots that go quiet), so if there's been a huge shootout and many chads were dropped, expect them to swarm inside 5-7 minutes. Also speaking of optic rework, the smooth zooming on variable zoom optics goes HARDDDDDD

For the toxin removal, use cheese (otherwise known al2 yellow/orange Russian medkit). As a plus, it also helps prevent radiation.

Nice acog, finally. I’m digging the prisms for short range guns. Much better than zero zoom. Might try this combo.

Finally, thank you for the list, our my list not far different, but I guess the config made the game

100000% agree with the statement that Tarkov is about "needing things". As soon as I'm done questing / Kappa grinding I'm literally finished with the game. I find joy in random firefights around quests and unusual POI's during the early and mid wipe days. As soon as the game turns into a dick measuring contest around the same spots on the map I'm done with it. Btw., I'm not slouch, I chase PVP all the time.

I'm about 3 minutes in and feels like it's pulled straight from a stream and not really a video about "the future of SP Tarkov."

Your first point at the start of the video about Tarkov is soo on point. The reason I lost interest is because I already reached the high level past wipes. The task doesn't really excited me and the pvp is a sweatfest esports

Should try the That's Lit mod, enables the use of environmental cover e.g. hiding in dark shadows and long grass. Standard SAIN AI can see you when your camouflaged this way so That's Lit give you a ton more options for cover in a fire fight!

I've personally been loving the dev kit with everything unlocked so I can build different ARs. I've always wanted to have ultimate freedom when building.

As a non native english speaker it helped me progress, and this was back around 2012 to 2015, now I no longer need any help but seeing others making mistakes, someone correcting them, and then others coming it to tell the previous guy to screw off is... disappointing and sad. Now you have to put disclaimers like that so people don't judge you.

22:00 Ive been saying that about DayZ. It'll happen once Tarkov PVE really kicks off, the modders will provide, just like they did when they made DayZ mod for ARMA. I think it would be dope if BSG allowed people to host private community servers because that would allow a whole new world of modding.

Like Tromble posted, i also run a fika server. There is a virtual machine company ran out of germany, that i pay 6$ a month for a little 40gig virtual machine. Its not like it has to handle much for the server. Its super easy, and just runs 24/7 for me and 2 of my buddies. We've played on it for 2-3 months now with 0 issues. We love it and probably wont go back to live tarkov. SPT just updated, so we updated too, but not all the mods updated. My 2nd buddy who just started tarkov on our server, saw how the live settings are (Since we dont have all our mods) and he hates it lol. SPT > Live. Maybe one day live will get guud.

Unfortunately, the server for MPT takes up virtually no resources. The raid host's game client runs the AI--which is what takes up the majority of the CPU resources the MPT experience demands. So, the host's gaming PC having the strongest cpu possible delivers the best results. I upgraded from an Intel i9-9900K to an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and I get like double the framerate. Outsourcing the FIKA/MPT/StayInTarkov server process to a 2nd dedicated PC does not improve performance in an appreciable way because the "server" does not run the bot AI. I've tested this, playing with my dad, bro and being able to use my gal's PC as a 4th to test these things out.

@@MattZaharias Can confirm this is the case too. I have a full dedicated 32 core Xeon dedicated rack server that I hosted this on and bots are still generated on the host's PC. Once I upgraded from a Ryzen 5 5600X to a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, my FPS pretty much doubled, too.

I'm curious, since SPT is running on an older version of Tarkov (they will probably update in August, when wipe drops), how much do you get random deaths/kills because of the armpits zone and the armor system being buggy? I'm asking because recently they changed the armor system on live Tarkov and it feels way better, but SPT is not yet on that version..

I bought mine 5 (or 6?) years ago. Streets in online destroy my PC :D But SPT runs rather good (except for Streets ofc, but even that map is bearable with proper tuning)

SPT with mods, much like Tarkov is still very CPU-bound. A fast CPU with a good amount of cores is always ideal. You don't need super top of the line but some like a RYzen 5 5800X3D or Ryzen 7 7800X3D is good if you want to run mods that affect bot AI, bot spawns and bot amounts

I ran 3.6.1 (Tarkov 13.1 smaller streets) up until this week (almost a year 'wipe' 😂) using SAIN and Donuts. On my old 10700k 32gb ram 1080ti running at 1440p I would never drop below about 30 fps at the worst times on streets when a bot wave spawned. Very noticeable but still playable. Other maps were 60+fps normally. I built a new 7800X3d 64gb ram 4070S system and it is a lot more stable - even with higher gfx settings I only notice when spawn waves happen which dropped me to about 50-60 fps, normally sat around 90+fps. Just started trying the current SPT 3.8.3 a couple days ago with fika and newer versions of sain and donuts, it's a bit smoother and I don't notice the spawn waves. I haven't run streets yet though.

what drives me wild about this is that i am using a desk speaker and can actually tell where someone is i can hear exactly where they are and it reminds me of old tarkov. How did they fuck audio up this much.

Can you disable the scroll wheel for walk speed. its so annoying to swap stances and use variabl zoom. it keeps slowing me down

You can unbind them in the game's settings, it's Next/Previous in the bindings menu, but that will remove your ability to scroll to select different context options, like Open/Breach on doors, Take/Search on backpacks, etc. Of course you can just bind that to something else.

its a dayz mod. i played the the old version (before it was shutdown since they are reworking it) and it was an amazing experience. Really replicates the feeling of stalker in an online environment

the realism mod has gotta be the best mod for SPT at the moment only thing i dislike is the med changes

I'f I'm not mistaken it's just the fov-fix. It removes the whole screen zoom on all sights, magnified or not.

Audio pop bug exists in SPT? i think it is gone now in normal Tarkov

The current SPT is built on 14.1 from back in March. Usually a few months before they finish adapting it to the new version. There's been so many rapid fire changes over the last few months I imagine they have their work cut out for them.

Anyone know what mod he uses so that AI has better guns? Mine always have lame guns with maybe a flashlight or a sight

Realism and server value modifier have some options you pick to adjust load outs. Realism doesn't allow you to pick load out possibilities, and instead adjusts bot load outs based on their factions and rank, allowing some guns like budget rifles and shotguns to be equipped by anyone, and higher spec rifles only being found on pmcs, of course bots will still loot those if you have the appropriate mods to allow it. I use realisms load out changes, because svm requires some knowledge on item IDs which is a pain to write in.

i installed spt and found it was much harder than the ai in original tarkov.

There are mods that allow you to tone them down a lot like SAIN. The current SAIN build I feel is more intuitive and less demanding than previous builds. I nearly ruined my 3.6.1 playthrough with some values I adjusted that I couldn't figure out why they made AI awkward, but now it has a bunch of implemented AI behaviors and difficulty patterns you can pick to make them all gigachad laser beams, or timmies with noodle arms and anything in between that you can think of. I found Normal or Easy difficulty to be a decent start point to flesh out how you want them to act afterward. And you can also adjust different values on how many AI of a faction or faction class (scav vs bloodhound vs scav sniper for example) will behave a specific way. So maybe you want all scav bloodhounds to be aggressive since they're kitted for war, but scavs have meager verpers and Makarov that don't do anything against most pmcs, so maybe they are more passive and try to avoid fighting, maybe you want all pmcs of your faction to be friends, or all scavs to convert into pmcs/pmcs into scavs, to make a game where an entire faction maybe doesn't exist, limiting AI behaviors to make the game more shoot and scoot friendly, or a slaughter fest.

22:06 my DREAM survival game is a cross of tarkov, SCP, Stalker, and metro in terms of world building, and gameplay. A world that plays like stalker and tarkov, with the world building of metro, with horrific anomalies like you can read about in the SCP wikis.

4k for a monitor is useless yes... cause you have to much pixel on a very small field. .. and this makes the game blurry
