I’m just curious, how is divorce being incentivized? I’ve never seen a woman that said she got divorced because the incentives were good.

@@AltairTheLegend Have you seen what's been going on in the courts? The wife gets more than half...Alimony and child support...Along with anything else the man did. Like a business he may have started, or the property he may have bought. Not to mention there are lots of guys who have to fight just to see the kids they have to pay thousands of dollars for every month.

@@loufher284 Maybe I’m just dumb but I’m not sure “Alimony & Child Support” are actual incentives for divorce. My coworker gets child support and was denied alimony. She gets $511.30 monthly and I just don’t believe she got divorced thinking “I can’t wait to get his $511.30 a month.” If I understand correctly, alimony is pretty rare in general. Last time I read about it, admittedly awhile ago, only 10% of people get awarded alimony in divorce cases.

@@AltairTheLegend $6,100 a year is a lot of money, especially when the father probably doesn't make that much to begin with. Also add to the fact that he can go to jail if he doesn't pay it. Consider what will happen to him if he loses his job or has a major medical expense. He falls behind, the state seizes the money from his paycheck, he can't pay his bills, defaults on his creditors. Becomes homeless, prosecuted for back child support, and unable to get employment because of the record he has now. Not only that, he's unable to get social services to help him get back on his feet. Educate yourself. Stop being so dumb.

@@loufher284 Perhaps I am failing to grasp an aspect of your position. I didn’t see any incentives in that paragraph you typed. Maybe if the woman is a bad person, she would wish those things on her Ex-husband as a result of child support. But I don’t see any incentives wrapped up in that unless you are arguing that divorce is incentivized by increasing the likelihood of damaging outcomes for their Ex-husband. In which case, I would still be concerned about your portrayal of divorced women. An incentive motivates someone to do something they otherwise may not do, but if the goal is financial gain, that doesn’t quite add up. Mostly because she would likely have greater access to the husband’s assets and money while married rather than divorced. Since the average child support payment is less than $5k annually, I don’t really see how anyone is incentivized to divorce their Husband for what equates to $14-17 per day.

Women innately know if they get married young they lose their h*e years and will always look back like “what if” 😂

When I look to the future and then hear/see "The Future is Female" I reply, If you want it you can have it because it's not looking to bright.

we'll when you have young up coming women trying to be like a man of course the man field is going to be decreasing. Plus we all should know this by now specially a careen driven women but it seems they are the slowest to understand this issue. Doing what men do to get a man is not the way to go specially treating a certain types of men. Also for one man and women makes money differently. Specially the young ones as when a young guy makes money he has to learn to save and budget him self and think about he's future. These days with young girls is they aren't taught the same values young guys has to when they are getting ready to get a career going in. I mean specially when if you take 2 rich people a rich man and a rich women and than you have 2 broke people a broke man and a broke women, who is likely to get a good life style out of the 2 broke genders. We'll of course the women will and even the rich women will take in a poor women a rich women will not take in a poor guy.
