You'll be surprised that most Major Updates have more details, features, etc. than April Fools updates. Reason? Because it's more easy to make the April Fools update than to make a Major Update. Now how does the Major Update have more details and features? Obviously they take more time to make the update, tweak some bugs, code a lot more things, etc. etc.
