The second clip happened at Ohio state when I was a student there. It was for an Organic chemistry class, which is probably the hardest class at OSU, and the professor did give them a ‘quiz’ and gave them all 100% on it to help everyone’s grade lol

Amazing how technology has progressed over time. I still remember how much trouble we kids had gotten for just passing handwritten notes in class. Thats how it was when my kid was in high school too (he graduated 2021). He was on the Varsity Esports team but their practices kept getting cancelled for various reasons, usually because they didnt have a teacher to run it. Eventually they cancelled the esports team alltogether for that year. The next year he tried to join again and it was the same thing. They werent able to compete with other teams because of how messed up it all was so he dropped out. Idk if they even still have that extra curricular anymore. It was such a huge disappointment.

That first girl deserves the extra credit. Prof, you've gotta support creative problem solving, it's a life skill in short supply

I'm a math tutor, this isn't why. Not even close. It's the timing of the curriculum. Math is too spread out. Instead of teaching children geography, they should advance the early math curriculum, then in highschool keep them learning at maintenance level for a minimum, then teach geography.
