it's still a pretty new thing in the scene. a lot of things are being reused all the time, but with AI we can spice things up again and give thumbnails a new look. there is really nothing bad about it, we still spend time to make them, we still add stuff to the generated pictures, we still think about the message we're sending with the thumbnail, so why such a negative reaction? if it grabs the attention, then it works wcyd
