& a complete fake, like most of hollywood. calling weinstein a god when she, along with most of hollywood, knew what he was doing. its a very small incestuous community in reality. but as long as she & others were getting good movies & keeping their 'star' status, they chose to ignore it publicly while tittering about it behind the dirty hollywwod curtain.

Yeah he was trying to establish actual animosity between the two of them cause he thought it would make their dynamic feel more real. He came to that conclusion without speaking to Meryl first which is wrong on every level.
