Gili Meno Island is a place of paradise! Come along as we arrive and make our way to the hotel by horse and carriage. No cars or motorbikes on this island. Finally arriving at the hotel, I do a quick room tour. Then go for a walk during sunset. The next day is the real experience as we rented a private boat for 2 hours to take us to all the hot spots on Gili Meno island & surrounding areas including the underwater Nest Statues, shipwreck, and the wall!
For anyone who is interested we stayed at the "Gili Meno Escape" which is a great place! BUT When I booked I didn't realize it was in the middle of the island. Only a 10min walk to the beach... For the same price, we could have got a hotel right on the beach looking at the water. So just keep that in mind when booking.
As I was walking around I came across another cool villa hotel called "Le Pirate Gili Meno" which is right near the water! On the same side of the island as the underwater statues! Also had a pool and everything. For 2 nights it was $60 dollars.
