What are your thoughts on my intentions to visit in late March-early April? I’m just curious about how interesting the weather may be! I’d love to catch the Aurora, but also wanted to avoid the thick of winter! ☺️

I can’t say from experience but having around 12 hours of light and darkness at that time of year sounds as balanced as you will get!! I would also love to go to see the Aurora but the middle of winter would be miserable. You would also risk a lot of road closures preventing you from going where you want. I expect you would avoid all of that in March/April.
