The nostalgia

First. When I first saw that and then watched Tugs' "Pirate", I couldn't believe my eyes and ears that they have the same references. Plus, I was very amazed that Star Wars Episode III's, Transformers', and Pirates of the Carribeans' music was in this episode. There's even a rocket ship at 10:51 and 12:26.

Same here. I couldn’t believe my eyes (or ears in this case) either. But I used to think that the rocket was a weird glitch when I first saw this. I didn’t know that it was a space center like Cape Canaveral.

You know what, ive gotten a headcannon/au for this show, the great northern railway would take part ownership of western pacific's part of the full bucket line, effectively making the WP side of full bucket line into a joint line, later, when steam was retired from the fbl effectively, a new main character would come from the GN, An F45 called mickey (mickey would later be known as MRL 390) while big mack, who would be kept in service up until 1969 (when the new stories would begin) and later, big mack would take mickey under his wing and big mack would become a mentor to mickey, big mack would later be retired when the bn was formed and he would be put in display at lake hurst, mickey would later leave for portland, and his tale goes on like mrl 390 in real life, later being saved.

Yes, you can see the massive difference between the parody and the original. If anyone has watched the original TUGS episode, they would know. Also at the time when TFB used to be popular, I didn’t even hear about TUGS until a couple of years ago, silly me.

I don't think so. The 2-8-0 at the front of the consist goes there after talking to Luke, and the pirate engines are still where there should be--behind the Challenger and the diesel.
