I think it used to be lower tier and being SPAA it had a REEEAlly cheap spawn cost. It was an excellent mid range tank destroyer.

The ZUT-37 is fun cause it’s like driving a tank equivalent of an SVT-40. Also I love how a Soviet tank with no roof at all still has terrible gun depression

The reason 4k has more pop inside is because your CPUs task manager has a much bigger schedule so as you turn what's in your pov is just being processed, you also have to bear in mind you're in a multiplayer game with air vehicles and breakable objects so your CPU is constantly stacked with tasks

2:05 you should try playing that HO-I next, it's incredibly fun and underrated, I've only recently discovered that little thing. You don't even need to use HEAT on it, the 43mm stock shell it gets has 460g of explosive and on occasion you can overpressure some closed-top vehicles by shooting them in the tracks, I've done it once on a Sherman when taking it on another lineup of mine. Even if you don't overpressure, 99% of tanks you can just shoot absolutely ANYWHERE and they will be destroyed so long as it pens (which it does at this BR). The tank's pretty mobile, it has workable armor, 15 degrees of gun depression and its shell is a literal nuke. I've yet to try it at top tier but maybe you will.

I was in a Ground arcade battle and I was using an M8 HMC, I came across a Locust that tanked 3 shots to the face and 2 more shots to the rear, it killed the commander and didn’t critically damage anything else, he then killed me.

I feel your pain bro.I was playing as Tiger 1 and my 140 mm pen refused to penetrate 45 mm side turret armor of t -34 four times...then he killed me

Speaking of an "effective" anti-air, try the French CCKW. Very effective at 2.0 and I've racked up double aces in it.

i love how many soviet tanks have buckets on the back of the tank, i just got a kv-85 not that long ago and the first thing i saw when i spawned it in was just a little bucket hanging off the back lol

On some of their tanks back then They used to put buckets on the muzzles of their barrel (mainly T-34s) In hopes if a German crew saw a barrel from far away They'd mistake it for an IS-2s And get the fuck outta there It worked wonders for the soviets btw

Glad you brought up the pop in issues you've been having.Going from a 21:9 monitor to 32:9 has given me the same issues and on some maps even entire chunks of buildings will vanish for a second

Your mention of object pop in is on point. I upped from a 3080 to 4070 and downsized my system(SFF life baby), and went full fat 5120x1440… holy moly the pop-in and texture optimization is… wow

Its not the turret traverse that makes it too hard to shoot planes its the 5 shot reload, lets say it takes 2/3 shots to gauge lead that means around 2/3 shots nearer/into target at best before a reload that allows even biplanes to get away. I cant afford the ace so its even slower than in this vid i believe.

It generally feels like faster firing weapons often fire rounds that do nothing. Could you play with different IFV fire rate settings? I've been always curious about that but I've only ever seen it in the default high.

You should try the low tier Soviet half track thing with the 37mm. It’s absolutely lethal. Slow, but punchy. And it can shoot forward unlike the German one.

You should play the British tier 2 Sarc MKVI 6Pdr. It is very fast ( I call it the Super Awesome Race Car ). It has the British 6 pounder and is very good for 3.3. It goes by no armor best armor and if you get shot in the turret you die no matter what ( 3 crew, 2 in turret). It’s got a .50 cal on top for AA and shredding milk trucks. It’s funny because it recoils a ton, and no matter what will land on its wheels probably to counter the recoil. I also think that the crusader II is fun. It’s I think 2.0ish and is super fast, good fun and I believe ( in a British tank) APHE. it is great for capping points, running along the sides and flanking the enemy.

The vehicle was equipped with an automatic sight of the distance-type with two collimators, a stereo range finder with a 1-meter base, a 12RT-3 radio, a TPU-3F intercom system and mechanical aiming mechanisms with two rates of angular motion for adequate speed and smoothness of aiming (the traverse mechanism had a foot switch of rates). The crew consisted of six men: a driver, an aimer for azimuth, an aimer for elevation, a sight adjuster for target speed and range, a sight adjuster for target course and dive angle, and a loader. "The ZSU-37 was considered quite an effective SPAAG in the mid-1940s."

Whenever I play it I feel like I am using a revolver to shoot through a concrete block, you know it ain't gonna happen but you still having fun.

I may as well recommend one of the Sd.Kfz. 234's (WW2 Puma) the tech tree one is gloriously speedy and a wonderfully fun armored car to play, and the premium one that has the turret replaced with a mounted pak 40(?) is much meaner of a rat.
