Was in a really dark place since yesterday evening. The frustration in a waiting season is so hard, so tempting to make things work out your way instead of trusting God in the middle of it all. This message boost up my faith and hope in God! If He reached out to me with this sermon when i stopped expecting an answer from Him, He is much more able to restore every broken pieces i've put in His hands! @@elevationchurch my biggest takeaway was when he mentioned at the beginning: don't let your present pain make you forget about your future purpose.

I believe God has spoke to me thru Pastor Steven at times in my life when I couldn't see past the pain to give praise to my Lord and saviour.

The reason why I stopped expecting is because I fear disappointment. But I was reminded today that there is something to look forward to at the end of my race. I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18) Maybe what I need to do now is to look back to what God has done for me in the past and believe that He is able to do it again, and maybe even more.

Lol, "preach it white boy" got me 😂
