    Gosh, that sounds really nice. Really full tone. Even more outstanding is that I've seen them live twice and he manages not to drown out any other member of the band. In fact, Alice in Chains probably have the best live mix I've ever heard (they also nail it in terms of playing). All Jerry did when I saw them was play. He left all the pedal stomping, effect looping and channel switching to his tech to get rid of the mucky-muck.

  • @minisurfbanana

    @minisurfbanana

    4 жыл бұрын

    Adam C. I think you have to many credit cards. On time payments is good but only part of it. A lot of it comes with the % of debt u have compared your total credit line. If you have say $50k worth of credit on 12 credit cards and you have a balance of $40k. They’ll think you can’t handle more credit. Even if your paying on time. Piece of advice!!! Get rid of at least 6 of your cards. I use to have like 10 cards and owed more than $35k in them. I loss my job and couldn’t pay them. I defaulted on all of them and got sued. It a blessing really cause after making a deal with the lawyers or collection agencies I only paid like $18k. Took about 4 years to pay it off with the majority of pay from a new job going to paying it off. After that I rebuild my credit history with one Credit card. My Sweetwater was my 2nd credit card after getting a car loan. Now I buy everything from Sweetwater cause the 24/48 monthly payments with interest...sweet deals.

    Its nice to see this genius at work like his brain power to create his amp for us fans, demonstrate how its used. He is so so much more than some kickass revoltionary guitarist who utilized what he learned from the masters he loved like eddie van halen, robin trow, i think even harrison is high up there in his book, commenting that someone gave him all things must pass when he completed d trip and he thought is was f****** cool. He obiviously digs harrisons talent and style as a guitarist. But jerry is so much more than his epic exceptions in the mastery of his craft. He has gone on to do producing and musical arrangments. His techonical knowhow is often over looked while he is bleeding it out under the neon lights. But with his new line its far more evident that we have underestimated what he is cable of. Congrats on your own brand jerry now is there anything that out of your reach???

    Dear Mr. Day: I purchased a gorgeous sounding amplifier - Friedman Steve Stevens - a while back. While I know this is a difficult to question to answer, I will ask it anyway! How doe the Double J model differ from the SS? Is it more similar to the Brown Eye? If you would, please state the differences and strengths (I can't find many weaknesses) between them? Thank you for your insights.

    Sounds killer, very Bogner-esque of course. It does the old & new AIC tones perfectly as you'd expect. Very awesome work Friedman! Hey Mark, we're obviously hearing Jerry's whole rig here, I was just wondering if there's any Palmer DI in the recorded mix? Is he still using those?

    Probably the way they mic the cab up.. I got a laney TF300 plugged into a Marshall 4x12 and I get a fat soiund out of that. I got the black star LT distortion pedal as well wich is awesome. Your best bet is to get a decent tube amp can probably get away with a good trans amp as well (Orange Crush) fiddle round with the EQ .. I got my bass less than quater of the way up mids at about 1 oclock and the treble is over 3/4 of the way up that and my LT distortion pedal Gain almost all the way up tone at 3oclk and ISF at 11oclk sounds pretty damn good.

    It's the player more than anything. Jerry plays behind the beat in just the right way, where it sounds more savage than sloppy

    Hi there. How did you guysget that massive tone on Sledge Factory? miking up of amp? pedals? pickups? post production? . It's one of my all time favourite tones on a record out there. Thankyou for all the years of music, and thankyou for getting a lead singer that is just about the trust thing to Staley (RIP Brother) you could get.
