That's what I'm talking about. Many non-Arab KZreadrs tend to overcomplicate the process. I love and appreciate how hummus is consistently crafted in its simplest and most authentic form by its original creators.

Took the words right out of me😝 In Pasadena (Los Angeles) we have many Lebanese/middle eastern restaurants, as a result and my love for tarna plates, tahini, garlic chicken, garlic paste, etc. I make “hummus” from scratch all the time. In fact made some today 😁 This recipe looks to be awesome 😎 Can’t wait to try it. Thanks . .. 👍🔜✌️❤️

Lebanese food is so, so good and healthy for the most part, in Brazil we have quite a lot of immigrants from the Middle East and you can clearly see the difference in influence in each of these restaurants that has people from different countries, Kebab, Shawarma the hommus, etc. I fell in love with middle eastern food and hope to travel one day to Lebanon in search of the perfect falafel There is one restaurant in particular in Sao Paulo, the only guy that speaks Portuguese are the owner and the guys serving the food, but all of them are refugees and the owner only employs those in need after fleeing their country, you can clearly see how much passion these people put in making food and you liking it is the best prize for them, perhaps this is why it's so good. Best Shawarma in town Cheers from Brazil!

I live in Italy and I have it prepared it today... It's a dish I love deeply... (when I do it I use the immersion mixer... to make faster) and then to garnish I put extra virgin olive oil and a light sprinkling of chili 🌶 powder ... and then bread and vegetables to accompany it ... I love it! 😍❤️

Exquisite hand made food! How lovely. This is easy, no blender required, or one could use an immersion blender. The freshness of the food is the best part. So authentic I can smell the cumin. I would add some Zatar on the sides, yum! Lebanese food is the best food in that whole region. So fresh and full of health! Subscribed.

@@gigyoung1983 No it's not that. Olive oil in the middle east, mainly in the countries of Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan (At least that I know of) we keep our olive oil unfiltered. So, it comes out thick cloudy and yellow because of the high content of the olive fruit in it. In the rest of world. Olive oil is filtered, maybe twice or three times sometimes. They even bleach it. Why? Beats me. People who actually produce olive oil knows the clearer the older it is, the older it is, the less flavor you get. I laugh every time I hear a famous chef say "extra virgin olive oil" and it comes out so clear and so green (The extra green color is actually dye) they have no idea what extra virgin olive oil look like.

One day I went to the local market and saw Olive Oils that were no less than 80$, after trying a few of them I was in shock that that was the first time that I actually ate good olive oil, so mind bending

@@privatesocialhandleGreek here, olive oil is essential to our culture as well! Just wanted to add somr infp. Filtering is done to prevent oxidation of the olive oil and enhance its shelf life. Basically these olive particles you talk about will continue to ferment in the bottle even when you seal it. Unfiltered olive has a very limited shelf life so all these expensive bottles from Italy etv would not taste good when you open them after 3-6 months! Unfiltered olive tastes amazing, but you need to buy it as fresh as possible. This is not always the case when you can't source it locally.

(you can add what you like) and that's it 🥣 Ps: the hummus beans have to be hot and well boiled. ❤ Enjooyyy!!🥰
