I still have my technology and the like, but it would only be a small adjustment period to live more rustic. Most people around me can not fathom that fact, so I am alone .

May we use stealth to pass laws that take away the access, manipulation, and oppression to gain financial power over the citizens of the USA. When the SCOTUS (Roberts) gave approval basically for the big employers to have a “voice” in our elections [I think it was 2013], the wolves of Wall Street seized the opportunity to more concisely direct the outcomes of our elections. They tell us who our candidate choices will be. This SCOTUS decision was to protect the free-flow of money in campaign contributions and the lobbyists (domestic and foreign) and to mute citizens’ objections over the mega-corporations taking control of everything affiliated with government. I just hope we can find the right mindset to correct these wrongful decisions that effect our elections and daily lives.

I weep for the nation that I once knew, the beacon of liberty and hope and principle and based on Godly standards. All is lost 😞

Lots of people were taken out long before we got to that point. It was a brutal war with cannons and swords. The problem is that everyone is to afraid to make the sacrifice, and that also serves to embolded the tyrants.

I still think it is important to be thankful to God that we have at least enough freedom to push for more freedom. Count your blessing and if we go by your standard we have not been free since the Civil War and had virgin land to homestead. A secular nation can never have a righteous ruler and the fault lies with men wanting judges over being bound to God's will.

Stand up. Live outside the system. Have lots of children and homeschool them.

This country has never been great. It's always been unfair to somebody, whether you're talking about American-Indians, African-Americans, Mexicans, Middle Easterners, Japanese, Russians, or whoever. I do not celebrate this holiday because of how "great" this country is. I celebrate it because it is a yearly reminder of our collective journey and the struggles we've all had to endure together. Fact: you have the inherent right to own and enjoy property to the exclusion of all others, A Right Cannot Be Taxed!!! Look at homestead exemptions, they apply to the part of the property that is not used as a buisness, then why would there not be an exemption for properties not used at all for buisness purposes? Because they were never intended to be on an Ad Valorem tax role.. "A state may not impose a charge for the enjoyment of a right granted by the Federal Constitution." Murdock vs. Com. of Penn., 319 US 105, at 113; 63 S Ct at 875; 87 L Ed at 1298 (1943) 4. We are only as free in as much as we are actively engaged in defending freedom, Voting isn't going to cut it...

Real Freedom or anything close, ended over 100 years ago in this country. There are many places you can lay blame but the truth is the real problem is in the reflection in the mirror! There have been generations who have been brainwashed in the government run school systems in this nation. I live in Texas. Texas is one of the worse states in regard to teaching history, civics and self reliance. And we need to follow our almighty triune God the Father, the Son Jesus Christ our Savior, and the Holy Spirit. We need to prayerfully read His word the 66 books of the Holy Bible. [Yes preparing for off-grid to the best of our ability is important too. But we need to keep ourselves in the hands of God no matter what happens and no matter what situation we find ourselves in.
