    @@TheWorldTeacher one can only "believe in" ones self. do you mean "do you believe free will exists?" then no it can't, unless you can change the past (and even then you might just create a whole new universe) there is only one history, which kind of implies there is only the one future. sure you can choose whatever you want, you can aim for a goal, but if you had the VHS of the universe to watch, nothing in it is changeable. if you have choices A or B, you can't DO both. it's like saying "i am going to think about what i am going to think about next, and base my choice on that"

    time traveller here. my fav time travel stories are i guess by poul anderson, he did a whole series about "the time patrol" that have intriguing story lines not just about sci fi but historical events. my all time favourite sci fi (if you can call it that) is sirens of titan by kurt vonnegut, no time travel, but it does has a chrono-synclastic infundiblum which is fun.
