HOORAY!! Lol - Biff is absolutely capable of knocking himself out....and that schtick was considered, but the "talent" was afraid she might actually injure herself, and so went another way. 😂🤓

Dylan was disgusting in the beginning but it looked like he had been abused after a lifetime of hard work so he definitely deserved the makeover. He came out great and I can see how you just might want to keep that cute guy. Biff rocks! Love a man with some chest hair. As always, I thoroughly enjoyed your makeover adventure. Thanks so much.

Your first three minutes were so good, even the wind and tree wanted to costar in the production. It’s always a good Saturday when there is a new Fables to watch! Your creativity is incredible!! And, it was just the inspiration I needed today. I took a break from refinishing 70 year old kitchen cabinet doors that my grandpa had made because I made a huge mistake (note to self: always remove any wood pieces used on the back of doors to reinforce the wood BEFORE spending hours stripping the many layers of varnish and paint off because they just may be hiding layers of mold behind them 😳). I have a renewed sense of determination to find a way to creatively replace six cabinet doors! Thank you :) PS - He’s definitely a keeper - stunning piece!

Another amazing transformation Andy. This style (50's, early 60's possibly) is my very favorite. Dylan was beautiful in spite of the damages, and you made him shine again. Having bought many pieces both antiques and restored in my life, I priced Dylan at 500.00 so your price was fair. AN-DEEE!! I am screaming! 😂😂😂 You wrote Painterly and Biff back into a fable and it is so funny! First of all, Dylan was not anywhere near as much of a hot mess as Biff was (furniture-wise). Biff (the character) is so outrageously believable, and you act him so well, I almost forget it is you. You worked hard and it is paying off. Hands down. Yay...another episode of "As the Paint Dry's"! Dylan was a mini Biff. Your struggle with diagnosing the offset drawer were palpitating. The color choice sublime and the decision to leave the base and pulls ala naturale was brilliant. I only question the new pull. But a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. You're definitely on to something Andy! Great job!

There is hope! Loved the piece. I have three pieces whose lines I love but will need various levels of rebuilding, one actually has to be rebuilt. Good thing none of them I paid for so don't mind a some sweat equity investment.

Andy, I so love Dylan. He reminds me of a Mid Century Modern Heywood Wakefield piece, with the design of legs and pulls. The color is beautiful. Biff is looking better than the last time. Has he been on the wagon? Can't help but notice...his collar needs a trim. It was a great surprise and pleasure to watch the new video. Looking forward to another episode of "As the Paint Dries". Have a great summer. Hot and Humid here in North Carolina.

In the future, something I have really found success with, when I have a particularly stinky piece of furniture is just plain shellac. It's clear, so you still get the nice wood look in the drawers and inside of the furniture piece, no paint required, but it still encapsulates the stink. Great job! The dresser turned out really nice!!

Yes - great tip! Honestly, I opted for the white (even though I'm pretty sure I had some clear somewhere) just because upon closer inspection, Dylans drawers were looking at tad rough on the inside as well. 😅 Thanks so much, so glad you like the outcome!
