This song reminds me from a friend from middle school, it's because I refused to stop talking to him that he decided to get down of his roof before making the last mistake of his life, we don't talk that much today but I still think of him nearly everyday, I sacrificed a lot for my friends and this song reminds me that those sacrifices are the good thing to do

My mom took her life last December. Trust me I know your pain. I can’t seem to continue with the normal things anymore, I’ve become an alcoholic at 20 and just sit at home drinking and crying when everyone’s asleep. Rip Jaime Ferro.

I lost my cat to inoperable cancer. I had him for 11 years and 7 moves. The night before I had him put down, I sat up all night with him. Having moved so many times, there were many times he was my only friend. This song really hits me thinking of him.

Same but mine was a Service dog 🐕‍🦺 black Labrador he was 12 and ended with an aggressive cancer and moved just as much. Literally first night in our new place after a divorce and he started having trouble breathing. It was his only night here alive, now I have his cremains it was 2 years ago April 29th and I miss him every day😢 Best dog ever, he went everywhere with me he flew, took a cruise, went on vacations, moved 17 hours from home, hospital stays, Drs, everywhere.

I never had the ver tough job or Heart aches either, But again, because I'm so close in my life with those I mentioned, I feel their pain as well. Just as your situation has touched me!

This song hits hard as someone who has been in the hospital multiple times for mental health/suicidality and am currently in a step-down program. I couldn't imagine dealing with this type of grief and I try to remind myself that I would never want that for any of my family.

What if you lost the friend in you? I feel like I'm losing this battle.

My Dad passed away in 2022 and not a day goes by that i don’t think about him. I hurt for your pain and I don’t know you. I just stayed up with a 28yr old guy who lost his wife 7 days after marrying her to a prescription overdose and he blames himself. The pain as you describe, your story must be very difficult also. It’s ok to not be ok. Just like we will all get sick, we will all have times where we are over whelmed. There are just some who are better “actors.” It’s ok, to not be ok. Don’t be shy about letting key people know this. Tell them explicitly. God does see you and He hears you. Cry out to Him to help you, then look around at the people and resources and you will see some that you didn’t notice before. Please call “988” - these people care about people and they are familiar with the deep emotional pain that causes despair. Go to or call a Christian church and ask to talk to a counselor or pastor. Ask them to pray for you. I am praying for you now. It is likely that the people closest to you can’t see clearly that you are struggling as you are and you just have to open up and be honest. Or, you need to look outside of your circle of it’s too small and the people are too numb to care. Jesus, please send help and help this precious life to recognize the help wherever it shows up. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
