The Fox Supa Brolly - a first look

Supa Brolly
The revolutionary Supa Brolly features our unique STS mechanism that eliminates an age old problem associated with traditional carp umbrellas! The STS is combined with a flatter, wider back section plus extended side skirts to offer the type of internal space normally associated with a bivvy.
Features
• Self-Tensioning System (STS) gives increased head room so you no longer bang your head on the spokes!
• Fully taped seams
• 8mm Fibre Glass Frame makes it very strong yet lightweight
• Extended side skirts provide extra protection from the elements
• 4 back Ribs touch ground, which greatly aids stability
• No bell cap at back -- an area that on other makes of traditional umbrella has been prone to leakage over the years.
• Optional Fibreglass front support rib supplied, which can simply be slipped into place to give further stability and create an Apex peak at the front for better drainage when it rains
• Front drain pipe -- diverts rain from dripping off the front of the brolly
• Short central pole allows for easy erection
• 4 storm caps (you can add longer storm poles on the front should you wish even more stability)
• Adjustable pegging points to allow height variation
• Rod retaining strap
Supplied with:
• 2 x 24ins storm poles, which do not need to be removed when packed down (they simply clip inside the brolly)
• looped locking collar, which is great for hanging items such as lamps and receivers
• 10 heavy-duty pegs
• Heavy-duty groundsheet
• Carry bag
• Neoprene protective sock
Weight
5.8kg without g/s
8.4kg with g/s
Dimensions
W 260cm X H 105cm -- 125cm(Pegging Points) X D 190cm

nice review mate, you managed to show everything people want to see from it packed down to set up and its features. All the main manufacturers could learn a thing or two from you. thanks Jon

Fantastic review, I think all manufacturers should use Joe Public to review their products after they've spent their hard earned cash on it. It gives an honest insight into how things really work. Top drawer mate.

@@SC-qv7nv incorrect- it is a nice and good quality nit of kit, but I can promise you it’s a cunt to put up and take down, I have the original 50 inch supa brolly and 2 60 inch ultra brollies, and I can assure you- they are all cunts

Stuped brolly all those brollys take ages to set up if he put it up in real speed you would see stick with tracker tempest v2 brolly wicked wicked bit of kit tight lines. 😅🤣

jason odoherty kind of agree with you. They are not fast putting up which for me kind of defeats the whole brolly thing. And the poles are super fiddly BUT once it’s up it’s super solid and looks great as well as functional. For the record I now no longer own the brolly having opted for a Tempest system a good while ago - now they are the dog danglies :)
