I'm English and I have a decent understanding of American laws in comparison to a lot of people over here so I don't understand how he's not in jail yet. There must come a point where a citizen defendant accused of some of the most serious crimes against his own country is remanded into custody until trial, especially given he keeps threatening judges and prosecutors.

It won’t matter. They can but they had their chance. It’s too late now. All of their crimes are ready to try and a conviction is guaranteed at this point. They can try to talk but that time period is over. They are all going to be on trial at the same time in a group. They all will go down together and spend the same amount of time. Trump might get more time because he is the crime boss. This is a great day for America. We are not a banana republic. We are a democracy. Justice will prevail. Time will be given to the convicts. They will serve that time. This is a racketeering crime. There is a minimum that must be served.

Not only is witness tampering a federal crime that DJT is already charged with twice pursuant to 18 USC §1512(c)(2), but Duncan could be a witness in the federal case because of the overlap with the J6 case, so Judge Chutkan can and should revoke his bail for witness tampering. SC Smith should immediately list Duncan as a witness if he isn’t already.
