I watched this movie in 2006 when I was in class 10th... 18 years passed I m now 33 but I listen to this music every now and then... it has touched my soul ❤️❤️❤️
A dear friend just passed away. He showed me this soundtrack and eventually the film. I'm here listening to it in his memory. Death is the road to awe, so he must be a better place now. Rest in peace, brother. You will be missed. ❤️

Rachel Weisz's portrayal of the fictionalized Queen Isabella I of Spain is very commanding and convincing, and by far the most beautiful depiction of a queen in any movies I've watched

I had the pleasure of seeing and hearing this played live by the composer Clint Mansell and his orchestra, last year at the London Festival Hall - I also heard the fantastic Lux Aeterna from Requiem For A Dream. An amazing experience.

9 yıl önce rastgele bir videoda denk gelmiştim. Sonrasında da filmi izledim. Hissettirdiği şeyler inanılmaz. Ne zaman frene basıp hayata dair düşüncelere dalsam arka planda hep bu müzik çalıyordu. Hayatının baharında genç biriyken tesadüfen gördüğüm bu müzik ve defalarca izlediğim fountain beni değiştirdi. Bir daha asla aynı kişi olamam.

No matter how many times I listen to this great piece of music, it always gets my mood up. A true masterpiece!

This film is my absolute favorite from Aronofsky and Hugh Jackman's performance is fucking perfect. Rachel Weisz does an amazing job as well.. I've loved her since I saw The Mummy as a very young man.. So much feeling in this film and its' score... it drives me to tears every god damn time. Praise be to the real artists of our world... If I am ever to meet Jackman or Weisz or Aronofsky, or even Mansell, I will likely lose myself in tears of simultaneous joy and sadness in a whirlwind of perfect beauty...

@@hotties3v3n watch it again. knowing the ending helps you to focus on the message of the film instead of trying to follow the plot. it's an absolutely beautiful film about humanities struggles coping with death.
rewatched this masterpiece last night. quite possibly the most beautiful and poignant movie about death ever made.
I am convinced the climax of Death is Road to Awe will never be surpassed. This song is the greatest thing ever composed.

I like that this keeps the movie's presence and secrets in tact, by using still images. Lets people get a taste for what this movie really is, without giving away major plot spoils.
I love the fountain but it just… tears me to pieces….. oh my goodness what a beautiful film.

Establishes Mansell as a major 21st century composer. Has the moody repetitiveness of Michael Nieman, the sweep and crescendos of past masters and the delicacy of Faure. He is a master of the craft.
I am feeling pain and my soul is breaking into two parts, because my dear mother has died 3 months ago, it was glioblastoma, cancer of brain. Everyday l starts with memories when she was alive, and I can't stop to cry. And now my dream is having time machine passed my to the past for saving my dear mother.....
About ten years ago I saw an ad for this movie, but didn't get to see it. Now, after listening to this track . . . I think it's time to go looking for it.

When I tell my group of friends about "The Fountain" people stop talking and look away. This movie is fucking powerful... and to think that I worked with the cousin of the cinematographer and didn't realize until later. If only I had made that connection earlier...

Cloud Atlas is wonderful! I read the novel twice before seeing the film. It is an inspiring representation of the novel.

Went to the cinema to watch this knowing absolutely nothing about it. No idea on story or plot. My god what an experience. Amazing film and experience.

I had a similar experience with Interstellar. Kinda like finding a shiny pokemon 🤣
Even as a young child I recognized the beauty and gift this movie and the score of was.
This movie and soundtrack moves me so deeply
I haven't seen the movie and probably should. But this track is just sublime. It caries a sence of urgencie, always building up, gives a feeling of someone hoping, rushing towards a solution, with time slowely running out, yet with hope just around the corner. And then that explosive end in an euphoric last explosion. Damn this is a good track.
I revisit this song a number of times and everytime I check the comments to see someone interpreting this movie in their way and almost every interpretation is mind boggling
Her şey okul kütüphanesinde Atsız' ın Ruh Adam eserini görmem ve ilgimi çekmesi ile başladı. Benim için bir baş yapıt olan bu eseri bir kaç günde bitirdim. Kitap ayrı, içindeki Geri Gelen Mektup şiiri ayrı evrenlere götürdü beni. 8 ay sonra aşık oldum, 21. Yüzyılda Selim Pusat' ın ruhunu ben taşıyordum artık. Ruh Adam' ı defalarca okudum. Geri Gelen Mektup' u da Kağan Çapar' ın sesinden sık sık dinledim. Kağan ağabeyim fon müziği olarak bu müziği tercih etmiş ve şiirin mistisizmini ikiye katlamıştı. Daha sonra gelip bu müziği dinlemeye başladım. Bunun bir film müziği olduğunu öğrendiğimde müziği böylesine bir başyapıt olan filmin kendisi nasıldır acaba diye merak ederek filmi izledim. Pek film izlemem ama en sevdiğim film oldu. Ara ara açar dinlerim, gözlerimi kapattığımda ise aşık olduğum koca bir yıl gözlerimin önünden akıp geçer.

The easiest way to get to the song is to build a Clint Mansell or Chronos Quartet channel, the song will come up pretty quickly. I had it show up on my Hans Zimmer channel that had other movie soundtracks showing up. Good Luck!
I shouldn’t listen this masterpiece for free...

It is masterpiece.
Watched this movie at least 10 times, have it on dvd. The music reminds me of the composer Hans zimmer.
