For everyone saying she is British, obviously you don't watch a lot of the movies and shows she's been in, she's Austrialian and she uses an American accent on "The Fosters" .

People think all Austrians are British, our accents are very distinctive I think 😂

Her american accent is so believable that I actually forgot she was Australian

My friend and I actually had this whole debate on whether she was Australian or American, because I had seen her on interviews since I'm like obsessed with all Australian accents and such, and my friend was all like, no she isn't! So I had to show her several interviews of Maia to prove she is indeed Australian. That shows how much of an amazing actress she is though, because people couldn't even tell she has an Australian accent. LOVE HER AND THE CAST AND THE SHOW SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!
