I was 11 when I started watching this show. I'm 15 now and I thank the producers and cast for making my life better. This wasn't just a show to me, it was much more than that. I just wasn't expecting this.

The great merit of The Fosters is to have presented many situations that today are more frequent than before or of which we don`t know too much. Thumbs up also for putting everything in the context of a female couple, presented in a very natural way. The two moms are great and makes the show more attractive. Having said that, and because I`ve watched too much teen drama in my life, the only reason why I started watching the series was and is Teri Polo. She is the strong rock of the show and simply a pleasure to look at since I saw her for the first time in The phantom of the opera (1993). Great actress, always underrated. I have no interest in the spin off, I'm just going to wait for Teri's next step. With her involved, I could watch anything.

Unfortunately all [most] good things come to an end😢😢 as someone told me back in my 1st 2 years living in a co-ed college dorms, “nothing last forever”; sad but true😢😢

Sarah James They have 3 episodes in the Summer, part of it for closure and part of it for setting up the spin-off. For me it died during the fourth season.

Callie and Marianna (Spin Off Show ) it will be very interesting and also why not just make new season 6 why spin off I wanna know. Season 5 was good leading up to "Prom" Episode" after it's been okay love the whole no matter what. It's been slow somewhat but gotta every one understand how they got there.

angelcreature13 I completely agree. It got away from the storyline that made it popular. Brallie will be forever remembered as one of the most passionate relationships in TV history. Nothing in the series has been at all the same as those two. So, pairing anyone else with them has been not believable. After thar it was one after another boy, girl and let's just throw in a immigration story . Mostly not fun to watch. Don't throw rocks at me because of my opinion. Thanks

4 episodes left of season 5 (19) Episodes I think it as been somewhat of boring second half season 5 but I still love the show. There will be a spin off will probably similar too what "Full House " did when they made "Fuller House" in way focus kids instead of parents .
