Simple but really cool watch bracelet. I just ordered one with horned ends, gonna put it on one of my Seiko divers for now until I add a proper moonwatch to my collection :) Thanks for posting this!

Beautiful bracelet . I received mine a few days ago : it's so light and fits perfectly with my Moonwatch. I recommend it 100%.

I put the wide, straight end version on my Speedy and it's never coming off. It took a couple of days to get used to the Forstner's feel and method of operation, but it is like butter on my wrist.

I love it! I will buy it for my moonwatch! 😊but wich one??? with or without the "Horned Ends" in the lugs ... can you advise me? thanks

It can be a pain in the ass to put on at first but it is very comfortable and looks great.

Nice vid. Can I check have you noticed any lug damage from this strap?

The "Wide" Komfit has spring loaded lugs which expand to fit the gap in lugs so that it works for different lug sizes. The downside is it DOES put wear marks inside the polished lugs. Forstner provides these little adhesive tabs that they say you can apply but the truth is they don't stay in place while you're trying to install it. The person at Forstner I spoke to on the phone even admitted this. I ended up taking the band to a jeweler who used an inside micrometer to measure the gap between the lugs and machined down then high polished the end links to reduce the pressure. I was charged $35. I prepped the inside of the lugs with some 99% isopropyl alcohol to promote adhesion. I then cut tiny squares of packing tape and applied them inside the lugs then heated a sewing needle with a lighter to poke holes over where the spring bars drop in. This has worked exceedingly well.

Looks like you got the Regular size. How big is your wrist? The website states up to 7” for the Regular while the Original is 7” and up. I have exactly a 7” wrist and wasn’t sure which one to get. Thank you.

navybluemonster i would think the regular. I’m 6.5 and have plenty of extra room. The large goes up to like 10” so I think that’s going to be a little much. If you aren’t in a hurry to order, I’ll get one if other guys with a 7” wrist to try this one on and see what he thinks. I’ll see him in a few days.

Get the regular. My wrist is also 7 inches around and the regular fits perfectly.

does the clasp have a tendency to slip? my speedmaster broke when i put a steel mesh bracelet on it...didn't think about the clasp until it screwed me a month after.

I haven't had that issue. I only wear my speedy a couple days a week though, so it could be coming. I would totally reach out to Forstner, I feel certain they would replace it.

I wear my Speedmaster on this band every day and don't predict ever having this issue. When you examine how this clasp secures you can see it would be almost impossible for it to slip. It's a solid design.

GIVE PROPER CREDIT where credit is due ............... the original bracelet that was worn by the astronauts was a .................... JB Champion USA expandable stainless steel bracelet aka: the nasa bracelet ........ NOT ................the one made by the old Frostner company who named their bracelet komfit

It’s definitely “skinnny” 🤣 but it does work for me. I’d live to get the OEM bracelet but just can’t come off the $$. Did you check out the StrapsCo video from a while back. That’s another great value bracelet for the speedy!

Forstner now was a “Wide” version, 2mm wider.
