I appreciate the love for these old synths, they're suuuper cool and with a really niche but dedicated few people that, when they were able to master the software, make some AMAZING music with it. One group I wanna mention is Spin->Out, who made probably my favorite album ever, Toystrumental, entirely with some ds-10s. Really fun video to watch, thank you :)

The Korg M01D is a successor the the original M01 that was released on the original DS

We hooked up my ds-10 to a nightclub PA and it sounded huge

korg gadget is on the switch and it is practically a whole daw, you can make... like... real songs on it

Of courses you probably know that when Nintendo launched their new flagship device, Switch, Korg launched a new app game called Korg Gadget it hasn't the same theme as in ds model's, but it has some great syns. It a shame that Nintendo didn't launch a device that we can't plug in our old Nintendo ds cards like korg card into the Switch or bring out a new app called Korg Gadget retro or similar? And maybe launch a mobile app similar to the one on Nintendo ds?

Does anyone know of any modern games that are played with a basic synth incorporated into the gaming? I understand there's some that can be played with a MIDI Board and /or keyboard. But I'm asking if there has been a game actually developed using basic synth principles incorporated into gameplay? I suspect there could be a really cool game developed around the use of basic synth principles, and work to even teach basic synth principles in order to play the game. Am I alone on this thought? Has it been done and I'm just not knowing it?
