The forests of Kon Plong, Vietnam

The central highlands of Vietnam are home to one of the country’s most important forests: Kon Plong. It is the only habitat corridor left in this landscape and is rich in biodiversity, including the grey-shanked douc langur, one of Vietnam’s rarest primates.
Leaping between trees, these amazing langurs rely on Kon Plong for their survival. This area, however, is under threat from agricultural expansion and development for roads and hydropower.
Fauna & Flora International is working with local government and partners to safeguard Kon Plong for the grey-shanked douc and other wildlife found in this crucial landscape.
